Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

Fiesta Classic tdci

360 km(2 lane traffic free)+
70(4 lane)+
40(town running)+
100(broken roads, 2/3/4 gear)+
200(2 lane, good roads, with heavy traffic)

equals 770 km. Diesel consumed=39 liter; FE=19.74 kmpl.

Rpm hovering around 2k when the road is free and 100% AC usage.

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

FIGO 1.4 TDCI
Local in chandigarh around 16.5 km/ltr with AC on even when stationery. On highways always more than 20 km/Ltr with AC always on. Without AC in winters local in chandigarh always more than 17 and long distance more than 23 km/ltr. These averages are derived when my odo read 40,000km.

How do you calculate kilometers per liter, for a stationary vehicle?

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

My last tankful on the T Jet was a surprise. 10.99km/l.

This includes city cycle and a couple of pedal beyond the metal short blasts down the highway. Full AC in all conditions. I use the AC in a optimum manner. 23 degrees does the job for cooling as well as efficiency.

40% in Thrissur city roads and remaining 60% in "one and half lane" kerala hellways( ex Thrissur- Kodungallur, Thrissur- Shornor, Thrissur- Kuttipuram etc).

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

Dzire petrol Zxi: drove 688km (~560 on the highway and the rest in city) using up 39.85 liters of petrol which comes to ~17.2 kmpl. Kept speeds at 80 - 100 kmph during the highway ride. MID shows that it is 19.7kmpl which might be optimistic. 100% AC.

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

Toyota Etios petrol-

City with 100% ac- 11-12 km/liter
City non ac- 13-14 km/liter

Highway non ac - 17-19 km/liter
Highway ac- 15-17

With/with out AC when driven above 120km/hr in highways mileage drops to around 13km/liter.

Worst i got till date was 8km/liter. Was stuck in a 2 hours traffic congestion with full ac on.

Best i got till date is 20km/ltr. Windows rolled up, ac off. Speed maintained around 70km/hr constant.
