My Skoda Rapid TDI gives me 14 kmpl with a mixed usage in city and on the highway.
The car has already done 14.5k kms on the ODO in 8 months and is yet to go under its first servicing at 15k.

Isn't the economy on the lower side for a diesel ?

The question here is how lightly you use the right foot? I've noticed my Vento gulping fuel if I drive spiritedly; at the same time giving fantastic FE if my right foot is relaxed, no abrupt pressings and lesser depth by being in the right gear.

If you are concerned about the FE, I would first advice to check her over a sedate long drive, than the regular mixed usage. One cannot measure effectively/consistently the lowest possible FE, but the highest possible.

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

My new XUV AWD has given me an average of 13.4 km/l on my recent trip to Goa, Coorg and back with AC ON 90% of the time.

Considering the conditiion of the roads and ghats etc. I think its a pretty good mileage for this vehicle.
