Got a call from my maruti dealer for booking a Swift . He said that mid range model sans the ABS & Airbags will be 4.25 lacs. And i could book one for delivery within one week of its launch!

You mean climate control? You can just set the temperature you desire and the automatic A/C will maintain that temperature. Had it in my previous car.

May 27 Launch? Just saw a red one this evening on St Marks road. Light was too poor to take any picture.

I hope that Suzuki dosent degrade the interiors for India.
Also, the buttons on the steering wheel should be there at least in the top end variant.

Are these interiors the real thing or are they a Photoshop job? I'm asking because the wood and the colouring don't look that genuine to me for some reason.

Navin, I like the integrated CD player too. I believe it will make it to the top end version in India. Let's hope it plays MP3's

Any car picture for that matter is Photoshoped. Colour/tone enhancement is a must after the shoot. Sorry

nau dont expect anything better than an esteem engine and a zen interior in the new swift. Thats an economical equation at under 5 lks in india.
