Personally i think the style quotient has gone one step down when comparing the new Sail with the outgoing Aveo!

Can anyone shed some light on this? Spotted this morning on the old NH4 at Lonavala, a little ahead of Dukes. Is this the new Aveo or something?

Spotted by a friend yesterday, these 2 Chevys, one a sedan, and the other a Figoísh looking Hatch.

Are they the SAIL sedan and hatch? From a distance the rear end of both the cars appear like Fords, the Fiesta Classic and the Figo respectively.

They are the Sail hatch and sedan for sure. I have seen the Sail hatch in Kothrud (Pune) parked near my wife's ex-home 2-3 times. It wasn't camouflaged, but just the Chevy badge was covered with black tape. I never got a chance to get a pic though (not having a camera, owning a pathetic phone and wife thinks I'm crazy when I click pictures of random cars, so...

).

Looks very unimpressive. Might have worked 7-8 years ago.

The rear of the hatch resembles a Figo.
Liked the rear part of the sedan, but looks outdated.

After looking at first few pics, I was wondering what make you say chevy cars. The pics looked more Ford-ish. But as I scrolled down to the pic showing the front, it became as clear as a day.
Purely on the looks parameter - not impressive.

first of all, that's a pathetic attempt at camouflage. insulation tape? seriously? makes me wonder whether it was a publicity stunt.

that being said, the hatch and sedan do look like SAIL.

@Pavan: is that the same matte black Safari that came for the Aria meet?

Is it just me or actually the Sail hatch carrying a left hand drive on this piece.

The picture where the Safari overtool the hatch and took a front shot, the steering seems to be on the left side.

The second and third picture has GJ-17 TC Tag on top left rear window. The only auto manufacturer that has a plant near Halol, Gujarat is Chevrolet. Easy to guess from that. Obviously the front end made it even easier.
