It appears the launch is round the corner! What else could it be?:-P
That is what Mahindra Xylo posted today on its Facebook page, "If you ever thought buying an MUV was tough, we're making it easier for you! Come this week, the BEST MUV is arriving. Keep watching this space for more!".

This is great news indeed. The test mules in nasik seem to have suddenly disappeared. Now we se the XUV 5oo much more often than before.

We are about to buy/book a small diesel hatch in a couple of weeks, almost finalized on Ritz Vdi, but I am really tempted to check the xylo out. What I don't like about the car are the very tacky interiors in the big xylo, everything is too rounded and loud, and the brown color makes things worse and as far as I can see from the pictures posted before, the mini xylo shares the same interiors.

Let's see, but I will surely check it out if the launch is within a couple of weeks.

This car seems to be coming soon forever now! If they dont launch it before the maruti MPV, then they will lose than initial focus.

when is this thing getting launched?

there doesnt seem to be too much chatter on the general web about it?

Or have M&M pushed it back on the priority list, giving pride of place to the XUV500?

As we all know, the GC mentioned is always from the lowest part of a vehicle. In case of Xylo it may be the differential.

In practical terms, the GC of Xylo is a lot more than the GC of Jazz.

Mini xylo launch is a bummer.
Don't know when the damned thing will get released...

This time xylo's got the Best MUV award

Just came across an article in overdrive,

re: Mahindra Testing sub-4 meter XYLO. EDIT : Fresh PICS on Page 38

I spotted the mini xylo at Bandra S.V. road near the suzuki show room. The car was white in color, camouflaged and looked like the size of gypsy. I could see the rear wiper on the car, alloys and seemed almost ready to hit the road.

Sorry no pics was on the opposite side driving.

All indicators point to December 2011-January 2012 launch. Let us see whether tomorrow (launch of XUV500), any concrete information comes out of M&M.

Autocar latest issue says this is coming in in early 2012
pricing expected to be around 5 lakh approx
and there is a 4WD option - which will make a very good tall / large hatch alternative for our lousy roads.
