2012 model Corolla Altis 1.8 G with 25k on the odo in Chennai can be sold at what price? Car is well maintained and in immaculate condition. White color. Any Altis owner who has recently sold a car please highlight the prices.

You can check with any websites like cardekho, carwale or car trade. It would suggest the fair, good and excellent price when you sell it to a dealer and an individual. This would give you an idea to arrive at a good price along with the inputs from Bhpians

Hi BHPians,

Need advice on whether to proceed with the following purchase
- Volkswagen Vento 1.2 TSI
- Highline AT
- White colour 2011 registered
- 51K km run
- Source: VW Chennai showroom
- Price Quoted: 5.25 lacs.

Is it advisable to buy a 4 years old AT car given that VW had DSG issues. I haven't checked the vehicle in person. Shall post more details and pics once i see it in flesh, but need first hand advice on the worthiness of this buy
Thanks

First of all, the 1.2 TSI engine with DSG was launched in 2013/2014. There is no way this model is a tsi with dsg.

This should be the 1.6 MPI with the torque converter 6 speed AT. Search for noopster's ownership report on the vento AT for more information.

Hi,

I had seen a GT TSI in a used car dealership

Flash Red
18K kms run
2014 manufactured and Apr registered
Car is under warranty
Quote: Rs. 7.25 lacs and came down to 7.10 lacs
VIN: WVW14601ET048015
TBHP price check shows a max of Rs. 6.22. Screen shot given below.

Should I negotiate further, seems as per TBHP price check 6.5 is ideal. Advice needed

Finally after having purchased my Amaze 2.5 years back after doing intensive research, thanks to TBHP, I am moving on to an XUV. Amaze did pretty well and would now like to sell it. What do fellow members see as the right price as per below specs. Will be really helpful while selling over next 10-15 days.

- Amaze 1.5 EX Diesel Manual Transmission
- May 2013 make, Navi Mumbai Registration, No Loan, First owner
- Silver Color
- 45000 Km Odo reading
- No Insurance claimed needed since car purchase and current policy valid till May 2016 with NCB intact
- Sony 2-din Touchscreen ICE installed aftermarket + rear view camera
- Interiors have seats covered with Dolphin covers and overall looks reasonably new.

Finally dragged myself to post my beloved Cruze on TBHP: http://classifieds.team-bhp.com/buy-...or-sale/47921/

Is 7.25L the correct price for a 4 1/2 year 70k run Cruze LT? TBHP price check largely matches but Carwale seems quite optimistic with the high at 8.11L.

Carwale.com is optimistic. I had been checking for some variants now. Check cardekho.com, the value more or less matched our check list.

How much should i offer for a July, 2014 Bmw X1 which has completed 17,000 kms. It is a sports line model, orange color and Delhi registered so ownership transfer wont be an issue. The car has no BSI or extended warranty package, the 1st service has been done and insurance renewed till 2016. Will have to pay for bsi if i get the car.

Dealer is adamant at 25L though i think it is on the higher side, car looks clean but i will anyways get it checked at a BMW dealer before proceeding further.

What should be my offer pals?

I need the experts to help with this complete rookie doubt.
If I purchase a car on December 26th of 2012 (Invoice Date) and the RTO registration of the car is done on 20th Jan of 2013, should I write 2012 model or 2013 model when I post an ad to sell the vehicle?

It is the year of manufacture which needs to be specified clearly in the advertisement.
In your case you can mention about the date of registration as well but don't miss the year of manufacture.

re: The "USED" Car Price Check Thread. (Online tool : Page 1)

Sold my Wagonr VXi 2002 model, run <60K km till now, for 1.2L yesterday.

Dealer (Tata) quoted 87K + 20K exchange bonus. I got an offer for 1.3L as well, but decided to give it off to this party who was very humble & a genuine person to the core. Was touched when he got his aged father along to buy his car.

There were minor niggles with car - the pipe from air filter to engine was cracked up, two spark plugs & their coils needed replacement which the buyer agreed to get it fixed himself. The tyres still are good to go for another 10-15K kms. The car had minor dents on the body. Decided to sell it off since the car was not being used much.

Buyer has agreed to get the car transferred himself. Will be collecting the NCB certificate (with 50% off) - for the next car insurance - sometime next week.

I had posted my ad on OLX. Got 20+ calls in a span of 2 hours, but most of them were casual or from some dealers, which I did not entertain. There were 4 serious buyers who visited the car with quotes ranging from 1.15L to 1.35L against my quote of 1.5L negotiable.

Happy to send the car to a nice new owner

I have a June 2005 Toyota Innova G2 model (With power steering, power windows, sliding seats, rear wash wipe) silver color, first owner, Delhi registration, done 1lakh kms, in mint condition, stock with a DVD ICE and full authorized service history. What price should I expect and where should I sell this car. Already have a Fortuner so it has been used sparingly recently.
