It's good that SX4 is able to maintain around 2-3K per month even after Dzire in the market.

So SX4 sales are 8000 - 5500 = 2500(apprx).

And if you talk about the ratio oif Dzire and SX4,tat is 5500 : 2500 = 70-30%.Thats fair I guess!!
I do think the SX4 sales may be lower. The figure of 8000, I think, is a stock dump ie what maruti has dumped on dealers
Whereas Overdrive takes the estimate of end customer sales. So the inventory figure needs to be subtracted from 8000 to arrive at SX4 sales.

I suspect SX4 sales is more likely to be in the 1500 bracket..

Just 3 Tuscons sold in the month! Are they forming the "Exclusive Tusconeers Club?"

Do ANHC does 6040 in March 09

Did it expand the segment or eat into other's share?

I guess it is the ANHC and NHC combination. I can say for sure that NHC is still being sold, because my b-i-l bought one on the day of Ugadi.

I however believe that the ratio is heavily skewed in favour of ANHC. It is a tremendous achievement by Honda, especially during these times.

Whatever it did, It must be combined total of current + older City, as dealers had the old cars also in stock. But by all means this is a surprisingly high figure.

In India people seems to buy Honda blindly.

Amazing. Honda i don't know how you pull this off! Even considering 10% of the sales to be NHC, ANHC still sold 5000+ in March.

today read in TOI that maruti has increased almost 16% over previous month though they did not disclose the numbers. hyundai, honda and few others are almost double digit % negative over the previous month and Y2Y. 50% of hyundai numbers are export.. so technically speaking they are doign quite bad in india. Tata seems to have overtaken them by a big magnitude.

How do you know they buy it blindly? Especially when you have to shell out more money compared to others in the class.
OT, you seem to be hitting your head against the wall with wide open eyes.

I think since Honda had declared that price hike of 35K for ANHC, they got some good momentum for March... thats my guess...let us see how they do in April...
