There is one famous temple in Nanganalur thats on the main road - you proceed from Le. Meridian towards the airport - you will cross Hilton Trident - at that signal take the left- thats nanganalur.

i can get to the track by 1130 or so.

John, I am really bad at remembering these areas. Madan dropped me off at this circle last time where there is a lot of construction going on. Its about 3kms from there. I know the route but not the names. Madan, help me with the names will ya?

What are the travel plans of folks from bangalore? TheMag & I are planning to leave from bangalore at 5:00AM. We are planning to go via the Hosur road route. What are the plans of the other confirmed folks. I am asking this as I thought maybe we could all drive down together.

It must be the Kathipara roundabout at Guindy, where construction is still going on. Nanganallur is near that area only. Not a nice area to be on a weekday morning. So plan accordingly if you dont want to get stuck in traffic, revving the Baleno stationary, instead of on the track.

Kathipara junction only it is. I suspect that your sisters place is in Nanganalur - behind meridian right? Anyways - the route i gave is the one i Know - she being in chennai will know exactly where the temple is.

Guys please be aware that its been raining almost everyday and the track's gonna be wet and slippery.

Take 2-3 laps at a comfortable speed to know where traction can be tricky. We wudnt want someone sliding off and wrecking his ride/injuring others. Once you get comfy, then gradually increase speeds.

Do note that since the track is wet braking distances will be longer and braking effectiveness will be seriously compromised. Wheels can lockup and vehicle stability and control will be unpredictable.

Ensure tires have enough tread and grip well in wet too. Preferably brake much before you would normally do on a dry surface. Take it easy. Its not a race and no one is competing against the other.

Have fun guys. Drive safe. Do post the pics and video's.
