12.00 sounds a reasonable time. i would also like to suggest that guys who are coming the first time may please be there at 12 so that they could get the briefing and we could start with the new guys first. with 2 laps with the trainer in the trainers car, 1 laps in their cars with the trainer driving and another 2 with them driving and the trainer sitting shotgun. wht say?

Keep it "lite". But drink and carry water and lots of it. On track you will easily get dehydrated.

You the man, Manx!
You'll have to teach the basics and lines to the newbies.

and for the records.. anyone who can drive the 800 like manek can, gets free lunch. Mr.Bean would sponsor it. Jokes apart.. Manek is a madman on 4 wheels..

Please refrain from having a heavy lunch. Loads of water, light clothes and a hat recommended and be there by 11:45. Would have a formal safety briefing and all the other yap yap yap including an introduction session and photo shoot as recommended by Riju at 12.

Everyone would have to sign an indemnity form. Including the passenger, mice. mosquito and everything else that moves in the car.

Helmets are compulsory (including one for the passenger) and so are seat belts (goes without saying)

First timers please turn up on time since it is for you guys that everyone else is turning up early.

Maneks's idea makes sense as it would help first timers get accustomed. So they can ride with those who know the track and get done with it within the first 30 min. 1:30 onwards everyone else would be on track.

By the looks of it,the turnout is going to be big, so lets all stay sensible and have fun. As mentioned earlier, nobody is there to race against another and prove a point, so leave all egos in the pits and collect it on the way out. Make it a memorable event and make new friends .. not foes..

What after the Track day?

Everyone heads home - or there is a chill out session in a near by restaurant or so

@petrol Thalai:
How about the spare wheel, jack, spanner etc., Can it be kept in the car or needs to be removed.

I was actully thinking of wearing a jerkin with arm and knee caps also. Hope these will not be required then.

they can be in the car as long as they are anchored well , such that they dont move . but remove everything you can , it will make your car lighter.

sure you can , whether or not you need them depends on what you intend to do with your car.
