Yeah, the Matiz was driving like an Autorickshaw in corners. Breath taking to see it cornering on 3 wheels.

i have only seen cars driving on 2/3 wheels in our Captain's films.

@Jassi: Man, you really cooled my nervers. Remeber in your first round of laps, you were behind me (Azure Grey Swift-P). I was slowest in corners and clumsiest in exiting, and you were just following me at my own pace. Somehow i got a feeling as if i was being safegaurded from those mean Mumbai Esteems.

Your exhaust was really cool. beautiful bass

A +1 to that - My daughter was all excited when she came to the track and I had to satisfy her demands - Thanks Sideways a.k.a Farhan V for that kind gesture. She'll remember you for some time to come

It was great meeting you all, and I am glad everyone had a good time and there were no major incidents.

I think it is time we organised a full blown track day. The last time we did this was about 3 years back. We will have all safety features in place, organise refreshments etc.

Lets plan it when it is a little cooler, maybe in August or September. Probably on a F1 weekend. We can have a dish setup and see the race.

Yup, i think it was in March 2007. Please make it a 2 day event this time as well. Driving down 730kms for half a day of track time doesn't make sense for me.

Helmet ? for car ? Yeah.. what is wrong ?

Monday morning took bath, brushed and the other daily "stuff".
Had a quick bite, watched some tv another small lunch.
Got dressed, took bag, ID card.
Car Keys and
Helmet...!

Waiiit... Helmet ? for car ? Yeah.. what is wrong ?
Wake up track day is over.

This really happened today. I kid you not...!

What a day...! I'm simply blown away.
It was hot like cray, still it was a blast.

Air temperature was around 38-39C and inside the car it was 41-43C (depending on which lap you are in) Yes with the windows rolled down. (not fully rolled down due to obvious reasons)

Met up with 2theMax (Hari) near Chennai Trade Center and another chap from Xbhp (Karthik who is near my place and nitrous had given my number to him)

We were bang on time and reached around 12pm. Bike session was in progress. Soon after the Bangy boys landed. Roamed around met up with some bangy chaps and some new lads. Heat was getting to me already.
1 Ltr water finished already. Needed a "chai" so was searching around and then we met up with ElantraGT (Hari, yup another Hari). Nice lad he was kind enough to take us out in his car for some tea.

Came back and the number of cars had doubled and the bangy gang went for lunch. A list was made and was left at the table near the office got my name in.Shot some bikes and we were waiting to get the bikes session over. 1 pm it was done. Paid the entry fee and ready to roll. Took the car and parked inside the pits

Slipstream was giving a "overview" and do's and don't.
Took some more pics and I was getting too impatient, so bagged the cam and did 4 laps. Man did it feel good.

I'd really like to thank Manek, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have done a 2:31.852 on my 9 Year 95k Kms zen with "slick" tyres

I'm one happy lad.
Even though I was not able to beat the flying "man"-ek

Manek, sir you are now my sworn enemy. My competition. My sole target the next track day. You know I'm kidding don't you ?
But I do want to ride shotgun just to see do it ?
Is it running on Petrol or is it Nuclear fuel ?

Don't have an "on track" snap. However I have a very low res video of me overtaking your car (I think) on track.

When i went to bed yesterday night, the track effect was echoling in my mind and i felt like i was going in circles doing the turns and being pulled to a side at each turns.

The taste of the track will remain for many days.
