Track Day @ Chennai on 4th & 5th Feb 2006- now with report out and pics

You can ask Mohnish. With 205s I didn't brake. With 185s I needed to scrub the speed so I used the brakes, but not with the better rubber.

Whoa. I guess i missed it.
I was shocked to notice the Malaysian Champion back in Chennai due to lack of sponsors. He's the friend of the guy who owns that half-cut city. This dude has SKILLS. I wish i had the 40 lakhs to support him to continue his fantastic racing career.

If im not wrong , i think dilip was present at the last track day too remember seeing him .. Sideways , Nitrous , poncho can u confirm this ?? Or am i mistaken ..

Also can anyone post the pic of the MMS track layout .. Googled but couldnt find any ..

No, i can confirm Dilip wasn't present at the previous track day which happened in December.

Hopefully MRF can do something for him instead of dumping money into the APRC program. JK dosent make motorcycle tire do they.

if C1 is the first corner after the start/finish line, then you are right. i remember the brake lights glowing in almost every car that went into the turn, including the balenos.

i was told the delhi drag is on 12th march. is this confirmed?

My suggestion to all the married/family folk...make it a family event. Bring everyone along. The resort is nearby, and it's a nice place to stay. Some biker boys did just that this time.

Yes the delhi drag is confirmed for the 12th .. Dont think there will be any participating at delhi however .. So either of the two weekends should be fine ..

I have over 850 pics of the track day at chennai. but whenever i try imageshack, i get some error.

if u guys want, i can put them all on a cd and send them out to whoever is willing to go through them and post the best ones here!

How about you try a website like webshots.com or flickr.com and create an album there so everyone can see em...?

Did you get a chance to shoot any videos? (or did anyone else take any vids??)
