Prediction : 2007 US GP - Indy

1. Kimi
2. Lewis
3. Massa

Don’t know what’s wrong with Ferrari but they will be back in full force at a circuit where they have dominated for the better part of this decade. Alonso never goes well here and I am thinking the story will unfold only on race day, but I doubt if he can expel his apprehensions about the circuit. Kimi is generally quick at Indy and I think this track is custom built for the long wheelbase Ferrari. Soon he will run out of excuses. Lewis will be quick; no matter what circuit it is, especially after his win at Canada.
I think Vettel might make is debut at Indy (for BMW), as I have my doubts if Kubica will be race fit in a weeks time. Hope he recovers soon.
Williams is the team, which I am going to keep my eye on, and boy are they improving, or what. The bosses at Toyota must be red-faced seeing one of their customer cars on the podium where are their factory team is struggling miserably. And if the bosses are Toyota will be red faced I think the guys at Honda must be looking at places to hide themselves during the boardroom meets. Taku San is finally showing why he is considered as one of the rare talents in F1. Sometimes his drives reminds me of JV and Montoya.
So roll on Indy and let the Silver Arrows cast their spell once more.
Go Macaa.

Phew! that was the most chaotic race I have ever seen.
Though it was a lot of fun to watch the race.
A lot of incidents took place.
Hammi deserved to win the race as he was clearly the fastest on the day.
Fonso it seems was trying too hard in the race.
Ferrari were not quite upto the mark and they need to work on the car to get it back to pace.

Guys... I missed The Race. Do you have any information abt the re-telecast of even the highlights package? Please post the times here.

P.S. Kimi is going down every race. Ferrari needs a better driver for sure, it doesnt seems he's putting in the efforts required. I am missing MS.

sorry suman, racingforIndia. no pics as i did not take camera. having lost one camera and 2 good sunglasses over the last 2yrs. besides i had to take a 20lt cooler filled with alcohol
i was in grandstand 34 and kubica crashed right beside us. for a second i thought he would fly over the wall and reach the other side of the track.
anyone noticed the civic SI acting as the safety car for a bit, wonder how the torqueless wonder managed that

yup it was the backup safety car as the main safety car was just coming in when the accident occurred. To get the safety car out asap they used the second car the Civic Si.

Seeing Kubica's crash I was rather apprehensive, but it's a great tribute to the safety of the Formula 1 cars that he escaped with a mild concussion and a sprained leg.

I found this nice diagram on the safety features of the F1 car http://extras.timesonline.co.uk/pdfs/f1_monocoque.pdf

Safety car rule question?!

One question about the new rule....
If the pit lane is closed when the safety car is deployed, then why wasn't the pit exit signal on red? That would've made Alonso and Rosberg to stay in the pit lane and not exit until the order was established. If the FIA had a green signal on at this time, it simply means they allowed guys to exit the pit lane even when they claim the pitlane to be closed. Very weird....

when pit lane is closed you cannot enter the pits. no problem in exiting the pit when the pit lane is closed.
