re: 1st Satin White Mahindra XUV500 W8 FWD on Team-BHP. EDIT: 85,000 kms up

Wow, another XUV. Congrats Kedar for your stunning XUVi. IMHO white looks superb in this vehicle. The interior lighting is also very nice. 14 L OTR mumbai is max VFM. I think your experience with the dealer is because this vehicle has become a sudden hit amongst the buyers. Same happened with a few of my friends when they booked the new Verna.

Have a very safe trip to Goa on the extended weekend and looking forward to a travelogue full of beautiful pics of your trip.

That is the way the XUV is designed. As Kedar has photographed it, it is acutally a 5 seater with an option of using the two baby seats at the back. I appreciate Mahindra for not using the side-by-side configuration as in the Scorpio.

Congrats Kedar!

3rd XUV on tbhp and all 3 are in different colors! Loved the pics. That's a treat!

Have a fantastic Goa trip and please share detailed feedback on how it functions. Are you taking NH4 or NH17?

Congrats Kedar!
Good to see your XUV also joining the company of your Superb! The XUV is such a strong value proposition for itself that it has tempted so many of us (including me!).
Wish you many years of trouble free ownership and tons of driving thrills!

PS: Pls also upload these pics in your gallery pics!

Regards,
Behemoth

Congratulations Kedar on the acquisition. This beast sure has changed the game and the playing field as well! All others will be left behind wondering what can we do now enjoy safe driving.
Would appreciate your true experience of ride quality, with respect to the suspensions.

re: 1st Satin White Mahindra XUV500 W8 FWD on Team-BHP. EDIT: 85,000 kms up

Congrats on your new buy.

XUV5oo is seemingly a Good Car with reasonable features at less exploitative price. I wish you experience zero niggles on XUV500.

IMHO Rs. 14L price is a great amount of money equivalent of US$ 24K which cannot be called a STEAL.

I believe as other car makers have been looting us Indians in India, we tend to call 14L price a STEAL.

I will consider this car if it comes in A/T variant without sunroof. I am used to A/T cars mostly and apprehensive of driving M/T cars in India.

How bad is the third row sitting. It would be great if you could post it's picture with a passenger.

Also how sturdy is central driver's armrest. The test drive car that I saw had a broken armrest.

Also I would recommend you to upgrade the alloys to super speed ones available at Mahindra itself. Cost Rs 35 k. Check what the dealer quotes for them in exchange of your stock alloys.

congrats Kedar.

Its indeed a beauty.

Just seeing how the look has grown on people. Now we have a Black, Silver and White XUV 5OO in team-BHP. and all colours look great, no more feeling of over done front or too rounded back.

The Design just grows on you.

Congrats again and wish you have a nice and pleasant ownership experience.

Looking forward to more detailed details and drive reviews.

Congrats Kedar. So you are the third member of TBhp who now owns the XUV. Probably a first to have W8 FWD. Keep us updated on its performance and initial niggle if any (Touch wood)
