Ok quick upgrade for xuvi;
Focal components,focal coaxials,focal solid4,dynamat,
Hilo convertor and infinity bass link+p4hids for low beam=70k kharcha!!

Awesome punch and crystal clear vocals.
That's some wicked stuff! The speakers in the back are seriously huge. With those in, the last 2 seats would never be used. Did you consider removing the last row altogether?

That's fantastic! I like choices and flexibility.

What did you do to the stock speakers, especially the ones in the last row? They are just there in disconnected mode or you have removed them and closed the gap? Any pics?

Congrats Kedar, nice system there.

Please post some pics of the HID's from front and from inside. I am too planning to change it to HID's. Also what is the price for just the HID?

Attaching a photo of a pioneer sound processor which will set you back by around 20,000/- with bill and warranty.
I am also thinking to upgrade ICE in my XUV with a 4 channel Amp and four speakers. How much difference would this DSP bring in if I decide to put that in?

Paid 6.5K for a pair, but I removed it because the throw after installation was screwed up.Will get the lower beam aligned with stock bulbs at M&M,later willput the HIDs back.

DSP will enhance your signal clarity and most importantly add in the 3D effect or the Dolby Prologic / SRS Surround effect.

In simple terms, take the example of the initial scene in Fast 5 movie. When toretto's bus is attacked, the cars come in from behind the camera and drive towards the front. The audio would move from your rear speakers to the front speaker, thereby producing the 3D Effect. Needed only for action movies. Just Music Audio does not need this analyzer.

It would dent your pocket by 20,000/- for the pioneer model and by 40,000/- for JBL MS-8 which includes crossover circuits, Built in Amps (Yes AMPS). If Money is not a constraint and your family watches action movies on the go, JBL-MS 8 is good.

Congrats on the great ICE upgrade Kedar. Just one quick question, where have you placed the coaxials ?? Is there enough room in the back doors to fit them nicely in??

kerar, congratulations!

Just an observation, in the 4th picture, I see some rust on the wheel (inner side). I also noticed similar rust in another vehicle at a dealership. I'm not sure if this is concern at all (may be it's common)? But, did you bring it to the notice of your RM?

Xuvi went in for first service today.
Had a very pleasant experience, this time around.
Total cost of servicing was just rs 1957.
I had reported several problems and was really frustrated with the small niggles.
To list a few are,
Airbag sign on cluster, now rectified
Power Window winding changed.
Left sun visor changed for free under warranty.
Break grinding noise is not audible now.
Tpms warning noise has been rectified by changing the wires.
GPS antenna has been replaced now.
Gear shifts are silk Smitha smooth.

The service manager at G3 workshop MrBaiju is very cooperative and a thorough professional.

Mr Jai Gandhi, customer service manager sent a mail and assured that all the problems are sorted out.

Overall I feel Mahindra is going the Toyota way in terms of service.

1957 Rs for first service is just phenomenal.
I remember I paid 11000 for first service for my Skoda superb.

Good to hear about your pleasant service experience and more importantly that all your complaints have been sorted out.

But first service already? How many KMs have you done till date? BTW, what is the standard service interval?

Hi Kedar,
Congrats for the ICE Upgrade.. must be going Boom Boom Boom now
Would you be kind enough to share the exact model of Focal comp and coax along with their individual pricing including solid4 amp and the place from where you got it done?

Did you change gear oil? If so, which oil was used. I still feel the gear box is hard on first and second gear on my XUV.
