Yes, really. Who would want to buy a new F2D car when we can have such examples? There isn't any new one available is another topic ;-)

Hows the painting progressing? Its been quite interesting reading through the past few pages on this thread. Nicely documented WIP pics as well.

I see a Q also being worked upon at the same garage. Speaks a lot about their worksmanship.

I share the anxiety of others and waiting with bated breath. When is the paint job getting completed? I'm sure Prabhu will do a splendid job.

Patience guys

Work has not really progressed since my last post. I was ill and therefore asked them to keep things on hold. I have to be there to finalise some design elements. Good news is that the booth is ready to accept the Palio now and the clear coat ordered has arrived. I guess we will start painting either tomorrow evening or on Friday.

Cheers,

Ravvs, wonderful to see the progress and good to know it should be ready by end of this week. So whats the color that is decided? Canary Yellow? It would look awesome in that color.

Also, are you planning for any design element on top after the color is painted? Any plans to play around with the alloy colors?

Finally, when do i get to see it? Mid-week meet, next week?

The GTX entered the dust free paint booth in the evening on Saturday.

The complete paint job is supposed to be completed by Monday morning.
