@ karthik247

thing is there are several layers you can get to be applied making it look darker .. as most tail lamps are red in color .. so people prefer to put more layers to get the dark effect .. i am posting pics with the lights on now .. you can check it out for yourself then .. taken during the day time so you can see its clearly visible ..

Saw a honda city with all the lights blackened. It was done by masking paper it seems. And the finish was just awesome. It had a blue black finish which blended well with this white car.

After seeing the Santro pix, looks like the visibility of the lights does go down a lil but, but guess it should be fine at night. How do the reverse light and indicators look?

How much do they charge??? I wouldn't mind sending my tail lamps to get it done

20% black with clear is gonna screen the headlight too much man. I mean visibility is an issue here when it comes to HL. The tail lamps are Ok.
BTW ashvin - I own a golden beige 2001 zen too. Try teh HL as well, wanna see how it looks on this shade.

It will really look smashing on a black carn..i always want that all-black look.
I'm not gonna bother if its gonna affect visibility, but otherwise dont mind trying. Help!
smoked lens covers is a translucent coat of black paint with a coat of clear for shine.
but fieroid check with ur insurance if it will create a problem in the event of claim
