josepeter, I have a Bolero VLX STORM which already has IFS so I just need 2 bilsteins in the back right? I'd planned go for a change of suspension once the 2-year warranty was over. But after last weekend's B'lore-Mbai-Blore trip I just want to get rid of the leafs ASAP!

So you're saying that a Pete's Box is already available for the Bolero storm?

@josepeter, Is the mesh grille strong enough to save the radiator in case of a minor accident....now that the vertical "teeth" guarding the radiator are gone?

You r right Ripper! One glance through the owners manual gave me the impression that warranty is kind of a joke. No claims if the free services aren't done on time ( there went my warranty out of the window!) followed by a zillion other conditions. the drive train warranty is on for 2 yrs ( think so) but doesn't cover fuel pump, injectors and a thousand other things..so it boils down to the iron lump; which I believe will survive a bomb blast! All said..i bought the vehicle for its tough build and bullet proof reliability...So warranty here is purely cosmetic...Hope i won't regret!

All 2 wheel drive Boleros come with IFS in the front; including mine! The IFS has dampers which can be switched to BILSTEINS. You have to swap all 4 for desirable ride and handling.

BTW; BILSTEINs are not a replacement for leaf springs; They stay; only the dampers change!

YES! Pete's box is available for the Storm.

Hi Jose!
Thanks for the pics. Immediately after the fitment of Green Filter you said you could feel the difference in acceleration and was able to reach the top speed quickly. Now my question is "Is there any notable change in FE? Are the Bilstein / Green available in Chennai?

Cheers
