Congrats on getting your car, more reports awaited.

At what rpm does the cam kick in?

Sir, if you permit me to say....

Please don't count your chickens before they hatch, lest you be disappointed again. That said, all the best for the car

Congrats Ricky Ji.

So finally you're a happy man.good.your review seems to be suggesting that the car is really good.

NA really is the ideal thing to use in india at least. No trouble of engine blows and no tooning around with the car.

I'd ideally suggest you talk to Zakie of TIC and ask him if he can remap the stock ECU to your requirements.that'll be your ideal city car then.the remap for the civic itself is so good that in the city you hardly need any more power.and its loads of fun to drive too.

Enjoy your ride.

Get a remus for the end can.a hardline should cost you 10k.and it'll be better sounding too.

which cam? what duration? lift? overlap? are you using a vernier cam gear, ditch the swift intake manifold runner length is too long very crappy, the air filter at the moment sits just behind the radiator fan so its doing more damage than any good by drawing in heaps of hot air, just my advice and a few questions, please dont take any of this in the wrong sense, congrats for being on the high revving na side, cheers, happy revving..!

Are you a mind reader or what ? Was thinking Remus, but not just yet..actually this endcan sounds like a rally car exhaust, but I may want to quieten it down, may go in for the Remus bolt on for the Swift but the "Quiet Type"

Have ordered FPR & Cam Pulley to get further juice from the present setup. The ECU remap is tempting - have you got it done on your Civic ? I am told the remap Zakie does is generic, anyway for the moment the ECU has to wait.

@dragger - thanks for your valued advice. The cam was custom built overseas, please PM Phil (speedsport) for the specs, as I have no clue.

@akshay4587 - the only gains expected are a crisp & zippy & torquier drive, which seems to have been achieved. No 0-100 timings done yet. As for the HU - the intregated ones started in 2007 so mine being 2006 did not have it...

Cheers

Well yes i have it done on the civic.quite some time back and am loving it very very much.has taken the fun to drive quotient through the roof. It'll pull easily from 1000rpm on even 3rd and 4th gears now.and boy does it leap on the press of the accelerator.

Regarding the remapping well whether its generic or otherwise i have no details but thats why i asked you to talk to him directly.Otherwise too you should have a good availability of aftermarket ecu's for the swift.

I like the sound it makes while revving it up. nice work . you could have opted for a polished SS tip, it would have looked better
I really wish I can find some one trust worthy in Chennai to carry out the port and polish job + piper for my corsa.
I have heard/read some horror stories about pretend tooners.

cheers

Nice to see you found a Tuner who satisfied you.

Nice rumble and growl. How about a little review on the high lift cam?
