Cant compare two cammed cars unless we know the profile. A mild cam vs a radical cam can be all the difference that you saw.

Yes agree with you! But, the car I mentioned does not even have a P&P job. How much gains can you get outta a staged cam if you dont have the related head work for it!!

Anyway, there are a lot of much more educated ppl out there and I am sure his tuner is amongst one of them. I would not like to argue on that! Just thought of sharing my two cents!

I agree with your observation totally. My car is running a mild cam not a real wild one. Secondly the cam pulley is yet to be fitted & the FPR put in.

Though I can say that my car is running much better (read smoother) than when the video was first made.

Cheers

Once you throw more fuel at it, you will really be amazed how weak the car was earlier. That will be the biggest change now, getting your AFRs right. Keep at it, the car will get better and better.

Cam pulley goes in on Monday, should improve things even further. The first cam pulley that came in turned out to be for a twin cam head !! So finally got the correct one.

Looking forward to what it does !!

Update :

Cam pulley installed. The idle is much better, the pull is very linear (adjusted so). Acceleration feels very strong, have not done a 0-100 (never have)

There was an Accent which was trying hard to race me after giving the thumbs up sign, can say he would never come near a Swift again (how was he to know what he was up against)

Having said that - it is by all means a fast or very fast Swift now. Wolf in sheep's clothing kind of thing...

Any techy questions ? Please PM Speedsport.

Cheers

The car sounds super sexy on the boil, I wouldnt change a thing. The exhaust will get smoother and better as the carbon builds up.

Just one quick question. Don't all Swift ZXi's come with the Nippon keyless entry WITH engine immobilizer ?

I certainly think so, just wanted to double check with other ZXi owners.

Thanks
