The handle broken, may be in transit?
Did you confirm reciept of the product to ebay?
If not do not confirm now, instead send a email to the seller with the photograph of broken handle/duster. Ask him to send a fresh one!

Hey Nairrk,

I thought about it and let it pass. I can manage with some glue n bandage. Don't want to make an effort in getting a new one and sending this one back. Have already waited too long for this to come back on ebay. Thanks for the advise though.

my handle broke too pretty fast..i am not really able to conclude whether it was the service center guys or the product as such ! nevertheless it has not bothered me too much as the cleaning capabilities still remain wonderful !

I am planning to give it a wash, any suggestions/cautions that I need to keep in mind ?

I think more complaints on this duster is all about breaking of handle.
May be it happening due to bad packing? or the quality of the handle is that much only?

Do the manual says anything about washing?
havent seen any report from members about the status of the duster after washing

A new outlet, exclusively for all Jopasu products/services, has opened in Aundh (Pune) on the Spicer-Sangvi road. It is located before the Sangvi bridge while going towards Sangvi from Aundh Road.

He did not offer any discounts when I made an enquiry about the duster which had an MRP tag of Rs. 475.

It is not dust, but rust!!! you cannot clean it. You have to repair it. Or probably take the matters into your own hands!!

Looks like a basic flaw in design in Jopasu duster handle. I have a California Duster which has a strong wooden handle. Jopuasu handle is fiber handle ?

Ditto in my case. It was supposed to have been shipped on 11 Jan 2010 and today [21 Jan 2010] is the last day for receipt. If I do not get it today, I am going to file for refund tomorrow.

I too did not recieve it so far. Today is the last day to recieve otherwise I can ask ebay to go with refund process.
Yesterday I spoke to the man Mr.Pankaj -9921000262 and he said that in the last 5/6 days he was on a pilgrimage hence asked time till today
to check with courier company etc. I have sent another sms this morning
but so far no reply.
He has given me a awb number 10 days back but checking with courier company, this awb number is meant for a parcel sent to some address in Chennai.
Anyway, as I understand, until unless we confirm reciept of the parcel/product, ebay will not pay the money to jopasu.
will revert later if I get any response from them.

Further to my last, sometime back I got a call from Mr Pankaj(jopasu care)and advising that the delay is due to courier company holidays last week (due to sankranti etc- courier companies did not operate for 5 days???) hence the delay in
getting the parcel. He further told me that I should get the parcel by today or tomorrow.
Whether to believe him or not-I dont know, but decided to wait till tomorrow prior
reporting the matter to ebay.

Their courier service is indeed a dubious one. Though I received my set on time, I had tried checking the consignment number on their website but it was not there. I told this to the courier boy and he insisted that it has been entered. Then I found that there was a difference of one between the consigment number on the courier slip and the consignment itself. I pointed out that to the guy but he had no clue about it. Probably as Mumbai is in vicinity of Pune I must have got my consignment. Good luck to all you guys. Seems ebay is going to black list Jopasu again !!

Ordered on 9th and delivery date was 19th. On Dot courier website was blank till 19th, then showed it as shipped to Kannur, now it says shipped to Cochin. Tried calling courier but it said number not in service or something, or kept on ringing. Sent emails to seller but no response. I am not surprised he was banned from ebay earlier.

Finally got through to the seller yesterday (on phone) and he has promised to update me of real status today. But nothing so far.

Hey, I think our shipments got crossed and then got lost!! Looks like at least 3 of us didn't get the shipment.
