tints will reduce the light output. They are all show and no function. How much do they reduce the light depends upon how dark they are!

After considering different brands and watts, I have changed my wagon R lights to Philips Crystalvision 60/55 watts 2 days back, costing Rs.1000/-. Overall improvement in vision with oncoming blinding lights have improved a lot, could be because white light replaced the stocks. Crystalvision pack contains pair of parking lights too which creates a fully matching headlight set with pure white light. My first option was Philips bluevision 100/90 but I thought of checking crystalvision first due to the following reasons:

1. No relay, cut-out, harness, extra ceramic holders required.
2. I could change the bulb myself with hardly 15 minutes.
3. No worries about warranty.
4. No head ache of focusing etc. because car already has a leveller.

City driving has become a breeze mentally and physically. Highway driving, I am sure will have a noticeable change, which I will check out this weekend.

Regarding to Hella Rallye 4000 driving lamps, I was quoted 7.2k for this. It would be having 100w. Is it the correct pricing? And also how do we know if its not a fake? I actually want Hella Rallye 4000 with 130w. Could we change the bulb after buying it?

I found narva 4500k white light bulbs for rs.850 a pair, relay for rs. 700. I was wondering if narva is good for my lancer or should I go in for something else? Is the pricing correct? How good is the throw for the narva bulbs?

i'm buying a hyundai verna SX Crdi. i want to change the headlamps since i heard they are not good. the dealer said he has changed that to LRN lights though i told him to change to philips night vision. he says changing to Philips will have frequent fuse of the bulb since it requires 150W or something and the car comes fitted with only 100W system.. kindly advice. i need to have very good night lighting as i love driving at nights.

yes, swift comes with H8 in the fog lamps. You can check it in the owners manual.

I have my petrol Verna with Philips 100/90W bulbs. they dont cost a bomb (think it was about 400) and does a great work. It may not require special wiring in Verna, even though in my Santro I did change relays and wiring.

The left Narva 100/90W blew the high beam. So on the left side all I have is a low beam.
In my 5 years of ownership, its the first time a headlight has failed.
So, even though the light is good, the reliability of Narva is not(maybe). I am told people also blow Osram/Philips etc.,
I did not use high/low beam together, and it seems a freak failure.
But then at TASS they blew lot of bulbs while fixing the wiring issue, I suspect it went off around then.

VisionPlus! Finally

Hi all,

Finally, I was able to get VisionPlus for my WagonR. I am posting a few picture (although they don't really do justice). The light is really good and I am happy that it will help me when it is pouring cats and dogs as it usually does in Siliguri. It cost me Rs 585/- for the pair. I know it is a bit high, but it was difficult to come by as well.
