Ah, yes. Keeping the Chrome dry and cleaning/polishing it at regular intervals seems to be the key.
Still contemplating on the colour.
Halcyon Green is elegant and simple.
Chrome is such a head turner though.

The confusion that all of us go through....Chrome Red is a head turner for sure. I was torn between the Halcyon Green & Grey and eventually booked the Halcyon Grey. After a long wait of 115 days, got it delivered last week.

Hello BHPians,

After waiting for few months post the release of C350 with J Platform, went ahead and booked my dream 2 wheeler.

I took my friends C350 from Bangalore to Salem in 2016 and felt like why are people even considering this machine which cannot go >80kmpl and if revved it vibrates a lot which causes a lot of body pain after the drive. I was not so happy with the vibrations and booked an Avenger 220 Criuse.

6 years later, the All New C 350 with the new engine was launched which claimed to have reduced 99.9% of vibrations. I took my sweet time so that RE fixes all the initial niggles. Took a TD and found it to be excellent. Without any delay I went ahead and booked one with MIY on 4th on February. With MIY, the Mag wheels and Cruise seats comes free of cost (which is a steal deal for me). You can have my MIY C350 here

As per the app the delivery will be by 04/April. The waiting game starts now.
Curious to know when will we get the Tracking ID/Number. In the app there is an option but nothing is populated as of now.

Hey Vasi! First of all congrats on the bike! New Classic is a great bike and am sure you will enjoy it thoroughly. Coming to the tracking, the booking cannot be tracked through the app or website. The next update you will receive will be when your bike goes into manufacturing and you will be assigned a chassis number. The only way to keep a check is by mailing RE customer care. Going by recent trends you should get your bike on or even before the expected delivery date as RE have ramped up production.

As suggested by rahulcmoulee, wrote a mail to RE Customer Support, on 28th of Feb and on 13th of March for the booking made on 3rd of Feb. For the both the emails, the response was the same.

We understand your concern about the delivery of your brand new Royal Enfield classic 350 motorcycle.

Your motorcycle has yet to be manufactured at the plant, the estimated waiting period for the delivery of your vehicle is 60 days from the date of booking i.e. 3rd February 2022.

Be rest assured, as soon as your vehicle is ready for delivery, our dealership team will contact you upfront.

We appreciate your patience and understanding in this regard.

If all goes well, i should mostly get the vehicle by 1st week of April. Will keep the status of my booking posted.

Even in 2022, RE is no less than a government office.
Booked a customised bike through the showroom on 2nd January and was given a verbal lead time of 45 days and a written tentative delivery date of 3rd March.
Come last week of February, I started following up with the RE store at Bandra since it's just a km away from my home. Folks at the store just gave assurances that I'll be allocated a bike on 3rd March anyhow. Come March 3, there was no sign of any allocation and I requested the showroom staff (after giving them a earful) to escalate my issue to any RM/TM, but they said it won't make a difference.
This is when I took upto their Twitter page tagging Sid Lal and also wrote a strong worded e-mail to their support email ID.
Within three days, I was allocated a chassis and on the 8th day my bike was dispatched from the factory. The registration will be completed tomorrow and I'll get my bike in a day or two.

TLDR :- Things won't really move until you escalate it

Got a call from the dealership that my customised vehicle has arrived. It was delivered to the showroom in 46 days after booking it through the RE application.

Had to write couple of mails to check the status to the support team. Thanks to fellow bhpian rahulcmoulee. Other than that nothing was done from my end. I completed all the formalities required from my end for registration process.

I opted to go with the dealer for insurance. Taking the extended warranty (4th and 5th year).

The dealer is offering side stand, saree guard, mirrors and a helmet as complementary accessories.

Will take delivery of the vehicle on Monday (28/03/2022).

I got to know that the Halcyon Grey Classic 350 is on display so I have the dealership a visit.
I truly love this colour . In person it looked even better. The fit and finish in the bee Classic is almost faultless with consistent welds and panel gaps. It does feel premium. The Scram 411 feels like an inferior motorcycle in comparison.

Finally got my Classic Reborn Halcyon Green after waiting for 75 days. But was the wait worth it?
HELL YES!!! Every bit of it!!
I've owned the Classic 350 around 2015-2017 and in comparison, the 2021 model has just set a benchmark in RE terms. The aesthetics, ergonomics as well as the gem of an Engine coupled with the eargasmic bassy exhaust note makes me drool over it just like a new toy does to a child.
The bike cost me approx 2.6L on road Mumbai which includes the following accessories/add-ons -

1. Alloy wheels with Tubeless tyres
2. Bar end mirrors
3. Sump Guard
4. Crash Guard
5. Headlight Visor
6. Backrest
7. Zero dep Insurance

Here are some initial pictures, many more to come when I'll take the bike on long rides where it belongs!

I have a question for the new Classic 350 owners. Is the rear suspension very stiff?

Today I took a test ride of the Classic with wife and while I am happy with the overall ride by wife mentioned that the rear suspension is quite stiff. Is that the case? My wife’s perspective came from our G310R’s suspension and she felt a stark difference and felt it very stiff.
I too felt the suspension a little stiff, coming from G310R but just wanted to know your thoughts on the same.
I am now thinking of taking another test ride with a softer pre-load setting and will ensure the tire pressure is correct; if that works out better for her.
This is becoming a deterrent at the moment as I had considered the new Classic for 2-up leisure rides.
