Why High wheel gearless scooters are not available in India

Don't know why High wheel scooters are not available in India?

There was m50/ 80 , Luna but they were no match with current scooters.

High wheel , luggage space makes them good for citi drives. With current type of bikes there is NO space to keep helmet/ raincoat forget additional luggage , small wheel scooters do not offer good stability when High wheel scooters can bridge the gap in between.

Below are some good examples..

Thanks for sharing. The Disc brakes look good on the Wego. Any other scooter in this category coming with disc brakes?

Hi,

How things are improving on WEGO? there was complaint on irregular idling & stalling of engine on middle of road/in traffic, TVS has taken care of that & also there was head lamp problem even that also has been solved, for details go through the attached pdf.

Re: The Gearless Scooter Thread

Hi All,

Can some David take Goliath Honda off the throne. Im sick of the attitude of Honda & the dealers just because the product is selling before they even say anything. Not to mention the demands for spot delivery.
Is Honda Activa the scooter gifted to mankind.

Me too fervently wish the same. Particularly you should see tha attitude of HONDA Dealers in Trivandrum. One visit was enough to make me vow never to set foot in their showroom again! To recollect, once even Kinetic Honda was like this only. What a fall it was for them. Hope it repeats for Honda.

I had a similar dream few days back with me riding the 946 ,woke up and wrote to vespa india asking about their upcoming models.

Response given(shorter version) :- We will announce through the appropraite media on our new product /launch dates ,as of today its only the lx 125 in the offering.

Ended up buying the same on Feb 16,good fun (worth the premium ,though i wish the brakes were better ,heard the disc brake version is getting launched oct 2013)

Re: The Gearless Scooter Thread

Those are decals which I have seen on some scooters. Think thats an optional accessory. Most designs look yuck.

Do compare prices of the discounts that the SA tries to give you with a similar product from market; chances are market discounts would be better.

After all, you're buying a Honda, Gold rates may fall but Honda will still command a premium
