sure me to.. haven't seen a lot of white rtr's till now only saw one or two may be.
apart from that the exhaust adds 2 more horses to the it as per the oem.

i never did any run in as recommended by a friend and the bike is going stronger by the day.
the only issue i had with the bike was before the 1st service was that it was producing some kind of sqeeing sound from the front disk got that rectified and after that no more issues.
the rear disc is a boon and works like a charm gives me the feeling of being safe, the stopping capacity of the bike is good and the pickup is way to good.

the best part is redlining it in all the gears possible

bike is doing well as of now. Though face a peculiar issue, when the bike is in 2nd gear around 3k rpm it feels like its not warmed up enough, gives some jerks but on changing the gear feels okay. Dunno whats up. Got to get this checked in the next service.
Rode it for 30 kms today, pickup is awesome. Trying to get it over the 1k oms soon.

Just Took test drive on one of my friends Black RTR 180.

The bike is just mind blowing.
1> Amazing brakes and handling is just awesome.
2> Instrumentation too good ,blue back light is very cool and of good quality.
3> Amazing throttle response.
4> She pulls easily from 30 km/hr on 5th gear double seat.
5> Engine is not butter smooth but its nature of over square bore, its not that bad either.
6> Grips are also very good to hold.

Just wanted to know how good is this bike to hold speeds of 90 km/hr over a long ditance..?

Time for an update .

Gave the bike for the 2nd service. The advisor kept trying to correct me saying that it would be the first service as the ODO was at 363kms . Only when he saw the first coupon he realized. I am getting used to getting wierd looks from the Service Advisors when they see the numbers on the ODO.

Some issues I have asked them to look into:
The bike does jerk slightly sometimes as if its not warmed up enough.
Oil filter and oil to be changed.

Other than that no issues faced, went for a couple of slightly longer rides (about 25kms).
Its very tough to keep to the 4k RPM limit as the bike just zooms and before you realize it, its 5k.

Each time I ride the bike (which is not too often, I admit) it never fails to put a wide grin on my face

363? And in the post above you said something about 1k eh? so I thought you were close to it.
Good luck getting to that number

But good that you are enjoying your occasional rides on it.
I have hardly driven my car since I got my bike (apart from longer trips or with family)
Surprised how you can resist the temptation to go for a long spin on your off days atleast...c'mon sammy take her out on a long ride. an I mean long!

Probably not the right topic but still..

A guy in office borrowed my friend's Apache RTR 180 and brought it back with the top speed showing as 160! Is this possible or some hack?

This might be due to inferior fuel quality... but I'm no expert.

cheers
