So when are you getting the delivery of your black beauty? Is this an RXL (85ps) model? Interiors look quite nice. I guess you would be the first one to get the delivery here on TBHP. Your ownership thread on Duster would be the most sought after, hope you would create one as soon as you lay your hands on the Duster.

All the best for the delivery.

I have not overlooked rather it appears you did not read carefully.

My question is if the yearly target is actually 30000 than why do you recommend Renault to stop booking at only 13000 figures?

I have mentioned that the dealer told me about an increase in ex-showroom price of the Duster by about Rs.12000/- for each variant. Has anyone encountered this anywhere else in the country? Or is the dealer trying to take me for a ride? How does one find out the ex-showroom price of a vehicle apart from the dealer's mouth?

@DRIVEN-TWEEL - those wheels are nice. Much better than steel wheels on other cars. Did the car already have your name together with VIN no. as mentioned earlier in this thread?
@snkjr

I checked with Renault Bangalore dealer and as of now there is no increase in ExShowRoom price. They gave me same price what it was at the time of launch.

I don't think that Renault will be so foolish that even before delivering the vehicle to initial booking custoemr they will increase prices.

Re: Renault Duster : Official Review

Hey.

A great review from GTO. I am not in the habit of TDing the car to choose it. Simple assumption that I am not a great driver and I would trust the experts(GTO), incase of my swift and vento. It was the review in team-bhp that made me zero in on my vento and I am pretty happy about it.

Now gain, based on the review here (ride quality, handling) I have booked white Duster 85ps RXL last week for my dad. Delivery should probably be around November/December.

I would miss the ABS+EBD in that, but cant stretch my budget to another 1.1 lacs. So expecting to swift and smooth delivery.

Are you planning to do and ICE upgrades right away?
Black looks better in real. Its 110rxl and it does not have guard painted silver on both bumperd which comes only on rxz. It gives much more upmarket feel. Lucky not to have silver door handles and mirrors. I might upgrade the speakers. Alloys are ready too. I wanted to upgrade the tyres to 235 60 16, but i will put the 215 on to alloys and then if i feel it small, then go for upsize.

That was from the yard as soon as it was unloaded. Will be taking the delivery tomorrow.

Congratulations. You are probably the 1st tbhp Duster owner, I guess.
BTW. Are you getting the RXZ alloys or some thing else?

If you can share the photos of the alloys with the prices, it would be helpful.(Unless you want to surprise us with the end product)

Its an after market h.r.s wheel 16*7j. Im a h.r.s dealer. The design wont be to everybodys liking. Its not chunky like suv and softroader wheels. Its just very simple

Re: Renault Duster : Official Review

The alloy looks like the ones in the pimped up black duster. Do I see a black painted alloy on your black duster?
Should be a black beast.

Please share an indicative price even if its not the price you are paying. It will give us an idea of what budget we should plan for.

Must say not my taste of alloys (would have gone for meatier ones) but this might just pull it off . Forgot to realize that the guard was not painted silver, looks better this way i guess.

If possible, can you ask the dealer what it might cost to flip the silver painted rear view mirrors to body colored?

As many have said, awaiting your reviews.

Another black beauty for you.Since you have seen the duster. Are scuff plates in front & rear removable?
Can they be painted to silver?
IMO feel silver plates gives better looks.

Saw white Duster RXL on road today.Looks better on road, has presence & cannot be missed or overlooked.
Is there any visible batch or monogram which states 85 or 110ps?
One i have seen didn't have any badge relating to power output.
