Nice going, suren! I appreciate the thorough job that is being done on the car again! Even though it's a pain to take apart something that you've done up equally painstakingly.

BTW, do remember to have the holes drilled in the bootlid for the "FIAT 1100" badge.

I reiterate what Shyam is reminding you, with my own experience.
My chap, inspite of several reminders, drilled the bootlid holes at the last minute. As a result, there is a slight alignment issue with the badge.
More importantly, I now notice to my horror, that the hole surface has started rusting, and needs to be attended to urgently.
Please keep an eye on these little areas, this will go long way in ensuring trouble free years later.
I'm sure with someone like Prabhu at the helm you will not face such problems though .

SHyam and Ravi, thanks for dropping by and checking my car out.

Will insist, on the holes to be drilled before the painting etc. is done.

Keeping my fingers crossed that 6050 comes out good

Shyam sir, even in my prime, I had not collected so many pics of elegant rear ends as I have now of Elegants rears. All this just for the sake of ensuring the right positioning, after all we learn everyday don't we?

Let me make your life easier. I had made precise measurements from another Elegant which had the original badge on it. If you want exact measurements you will have to wait till the weekend. my car is in poona.

Absolutely sir! No offence meant!

My only intention of insisting on it was to ensure that you don't go through any unwanted pains later on.

Oh, and when you mentioned your *prime*, I think I got enough hint of what 'elegant' rear ends you were referring to....!
But let's spare each other the details, knowing that we'd be 'shifting gears' way into O.T territory here!

samish, agree with you, but to really appreciate the quality, the perseverance, the sweat etc... you would have to definitely visit the saga i.e.

Suren i am speechless at the spectacle.

A shiny car goes to paint booth within 60 days of paint job.

Hope the car will come out clean this time around.

And what patience and perseverance sir.....
