Wow, is this enthusiast likely to forget it period ?? In that case..
Imported 1100 sounds very very interesting, and a well kept secret . Hmmm I'll need to visit this "location" again, it looks like. But worry not Karlos - my lips are sealed !

'was passing by this road on my way home this afternoon, and stopped on the spot seeing this lovely select ('first thought it was a super-select because of the tail-lights and fuel-tank lid, until I went closer)
'met the owner who was sitting inside the car then. Chatted a while with him about the car, then he consented to let me take pics.
It's been a one-family owned car since new! And almost 100% original.

I was going to tell him about team bhp but he seemed in a hurry to leave then. However we did exchange contact nos. so 'would hopefully get a chance to meet him again sometime.

Not that I'm aware of. I'm sure it couldn't be this one. Where did you hear the car for sale was?

I am not a great fan of FIAT. but I was wondering what does Super Select in this particular model mean? i mean any particular reason that they named it such.

The super select was the model which came after the select, in 1962. It had a quarter glass for the front windows, a different grille, and other trim bits. More about them here:http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/vintag...tml#post264501

The Select had a two piece Taillight.
Like the one Below.

Whilst the Super Select had the Standard Three Piece Taillight.

Also, The selects had the elegant Elegant tpe fuel filler with the pipe and locking mechanism sticking outside. Whereas, the Super Select had the Fuel Flap.
