Unfortunatly we need to use the clamps to fit the rear view mirrors on Lambretta and Vespa.

Helloooooooo!! No one here Mmm!! I am sure you all must be awaiting for the sun to rise so you can start the wasps and raid towards Neclace Road. I just finished tBund. he body, wheel, aliminium polishing, engine oil changed, Plug replaced, cables, air pressure, lights checked all perfect now just looking at the clock clicking every second and the time moving slow but steady. Eager to see all the beauties in one spot and meet fellow enthusiasts.

Guys for your info the venue is MMTS railway station, Neclace Road opp to Eat Street Resturant, Tank Bund 22/08/2010 at 09:00 AM IST. Lucky spot this is where FCCH is born now the second child (Club) HCSC

HCSC First Meet

It was a sunny sunday morning and few of us assembled at the Necklace road to show off our two wheeled beauty.
Fist to reach was Bala on his Vespa 150 and what a ride it was.It truly deserves the name Flying sparrow.Soon I joined in my Lambretta and Rahul and Suhsil followed in their Bajaj classic beauties.
Rahul had brought some rare material of artifects of Vespa and Lambretta that we were just leaping in joy to read these manuals.
Quickly we did a ride around Necklace Road for half an hour and waved adieu to each one of us.
Our next meet is planned in September which is a ride to Gandiper.
More pics to follow from Bala and Sushil.

HCSC has born.

Hi folks! the day has come true today 22nd Aug 2010 HCSC is born and with vibrant and flying colour.

It was as per plan. As I reached first and was little sceptic if the venue is right because Ram is the early bird who is always there welcoming others for all the FCCH meets. Then came a Lambretta LI150 with the red and off white combo, chrommed mirrors with a french speaking Italian man on with that red and white striped period helmet, looked like a cafe racer on a scooter he was none other than our Ram, soon followed by our new joinee Rahul Waghmare with his ravishing red Bajaj Super and then Sushil with his Bajaj 150.

Though it was 4 membered but the energy and the joy was equvalent to a group. Soon started introducing each. We did not waste any time more and reached our pockets and pulled our mobiles and started the shooting (the photo shoot). Luckly Rahul has the taste for photography and he without any delay started off.

Rahul pulled some thing from his fathers collection of manuals which made my jaw drop quickly flipped the old pages which increased our astonishment and the drawings and the smell of the book made us feel go back to the Vespa era, Rahul please convey our thanks to your dad for treasuring these books for reference.

We all decided to take a ride and then disperse, very soon the lambretta of Ram stopped and the kid in Ram said we will celebrate and have some Ice Cream and we took a 'U' turn and stopped at the Icecream stall and had a quick chat and then flew off to our homes.

Now the pictures will take you through the moments we relished.

Bala,Sushil and Rahul..It was a fantastic meet and after seeing the pics,i feel this is a new beginning for our passion that has brought us togather.
The ride around Necklace road was filled with pure air of joy and next time when we do our trip to Gandipet,it will get even more better.
It was fascinating to see the scooter manuals and even more admire their maintenance.
Yet again this passion is born out of Team BHP...what a way !!!
Some more pics of the meet and ride from Rahul Waghmare's camera.

I am honoured Ram garu. I am sure anybody with a two wheeled beauty like ours will not wait to join us, apart from that we need to let the scooter lovers around know that there is a place (HCSC) with likeminded people I am sure they will love to join us.

Thanks Rahul for the wonderful pictures, I will treasure them and going forward my avtar, profile pictures will also reflect this.

I think we need to start from now letting scotter owners about the club and the trip so that we will have good number on that day! what say folks? I am sure Shiva, Suren will also accompany, today I missed the orange flame and suren's scooter. Hope Gandipet drive will be with them.

Till then drive safe, wear helmets, seat belts and always "One at a time" no multi tasking while driving.

Hi Again

After the meet today am seiously thinking on getting my beauty completely restored,

I am sure the Expertise of Bala will help me to get her to the esteemed condition.

in the meantime will enclose the link of a website which has all the shades that

classic vespa ever came with . All one has to do is hover over the colour of the

choice on the Left hand Side and see how the Scooter looks on Right hand side

Especially helpful for people in their restorations

here is the Lambretta Shade Card

And Here is the shade card for Vintage Vespa (Courtsey: www.retrovespa.com/colors.html)

Take Care and Keep smiling always

Sushil Narayanan.
