Can you suggest the best route for Nainital, and how to road conditions due to recent rains?

On 28th Sep. I am planning to cover Nainital -> Bhimtal -> Mukteshwar -> Munsyari.

Any suggestions in planning are most welcome as I have never done this stretch.
