Have you listened to Enslaved's Vertebrae album? That is a good one.

I haven't heard Axioma Ethica Odini as yet - need to check it out.

This would be their second performance in bangalore. I saw them earlier, I cannot remember if they opened for Megadeth or Iron maiden.

No dude. The Kingfisher gig was Lacuna Coil's first performance in India.

Anyone heading to Goa for the Indian Music Conference? There's a good line-up of local as well as international metal bands including Cynic from the US.

Strawberry Fields has begun. A number of local bands would be performing today, tomorrow and day-after. I should be going for it on Sunday, the finals of the fest. Looking forward to it!

Last time, Inner Sanctum nailed it!

Dude, the local shops are a joke. Just go online and buy direct from record labels like Nuclear Blast, Southern Lord, Candlelight, Moonfog, Earache, Roadrunner and Century Media or get paid downloads via Amazon.

Today on the way to office was listening in to the last hurrah by Dio
(The Heaven and Hell ST album).

His voice is so constant transcending age! The other guy in the same league is Bruce (and who else?).

Another guy with amazing vocals is Mike Patton (Faith No More). Listen to his recent work with Fantomas. This guy is really good in a "mad genius" sort of way.

@Abhay
I'm not going to Goa due to work commitments.

+1 to that. Geoff Tate. What an amazing vocalist!! I always felt that he should have deserved much more recognition. He's right up there with Rob for me.

Thats it ! On the way back its Mindcrime for me! I love the digital age, which helps carry every thing in your pocket.

Separate news: Not sure if you know already.

A new album called Metal Spheres was released (Aug/Sep time).
Featuring The Orb (Ambient House) and Glimour Jam sessions.

Should be worth a try.
