That band has some awesome tracks, though haven't heard any of their stuff post-Cavalera but Arise and Chaos A.D are amazing albums.
but i just found out the brothers are back as Cavalera Conspiracy and have released an album called Blunt Force Trauma.
Any reviews?

EDIT: OMFG! \m/

EDIT2: Great I can still edit. The above video is NOT an official video. It has been uploaded by a fan.

@Ampere: Awesome will check out the new Manowar album. Feel sad about Scot Columbus, he was only 45.

@Amitoj: I have a Cavalera Conspiracy album called Inflikted. It's heavy but doesn't come close to the old Sepultura albums.

All of you Prog fans! Check out this amazing German band called Long Distance Calling. I can't stop listening to this album!!

No problems. You only gave them to me!
Just giving it a spin. Its awesome. Just realized its a re-recording of the old album. But the re-recording has really made it alive! Awesome riffs and drums.

Any mercyful fate and king diamond fans in here! Plus I've just recently been to some great gigs in Delhi. Both had deathcore/thrash bands playing. Undying Inc., Artillerie, Phobia, and Fractalline. Great stuff. I also happened to meet KP at that gig (from Myndsnare, bangalore).

Great guy, and appreciated the support.

Yes! I like King Diamond and Mercyful Fate. MF's "Into the Unknown" is on my all time top 10 list.

Also check out this band called "Ghost" from Sweden. They have the whole King Diamond thing going on and their debut album is very good.

I've also seen King Diamond perform live. They put on a great show with theatrics and props. It's like watching a live horror film!

The backing voice (Narrator) in the song (Dark Avenger. I think that was the one).

re: The Heavy Metal & Rock Thread

KK Downing out of Judas Priest (and their final Epitaph tour)...dammit! :(
Although Tipton is the better guitarist (and a personal favourite), KK made Priest what it is for the last 35-40 odd years!

Riverside is just too good ! (And yes they do remind one of Floyd)
Have you heard there other albums? Rapid Eye Movement and Second Life Syndrome?
They are Out of this world!

And they also have a fantastic production quality.

In one of them, they actually play a piece from Shine on you crazy diamond!
One of my friends in the office gave "Out Of Myself"to me and the since I have been hooked.

Bad to hear about Tipton. Nothing like Stained Class for me.
Beyond the realms of death!

Here is what I read in Metal-Rules:
