Re: R.I.P. Behram Dhabhar

Had gone to Behram's funeral earlier this morning @ the Towers of Silence. Very calm & peaceful. Whoever was there spoke of his love for cars & driving. Someone even commented that Behram breathed his last in a car itself (he was a passenger). A lot of BHPians were there.

Hi Team-Bhp, I am not a member of the forum, though i have tried multiple times but couldn't get through, but I haven't given up yet. I am following this forum from last 2-3 years and this forum has increased my knowledge on all automobiles not just cars. I am passionate about jeeps and have read almost all the jeap related threads, and because of that I am a fan of Mr Behram, his contribution and knowledge on this. Though i never new him personally, but still i can say he was a gem and a person of very nice nature, by reading his replies to even the dumbest question one can ask. It's really sad and heart breaking that he has gone, but still the memories and knowledge that he has left behind will always be there with me. Thanks

While I did not have the pleasure of interacting with him, like other members I too liked going through his replies and admired the patience and passion that went into those replies.

R.I.P. BD sir.

Re: R.I.P. Behram Dhabhar

The excruciating inevitability of life and death.

Though we hardly saw eye to eye on the few TBhp interactions we had, I admired his ability to soften my admittedly sarcastic jibes with his immense experience, knowledge, and most importantly, unlimited passion.

Going to miss reading his posts.

To paraphrase one of the many trademarks that he left on the forum,

All izz NOT well today, my dear departed BD Sir.

My condolences to the family.

Re: R.I.P. Behram Dhabhar

Godspeed Behramji. Very sad news. I had met him briefly in Pune, where he and my parents live in the same complex. He had been after my dad for years to part with his old Fiat, without success. May he enjoy driving his Thar in the wide open spaces up there.

Re: R.I.P. Behram Dhabhar

R.I.P sir, very sad to hear. Remember PM'ing him regarding Thar brakes (I was a newbie in TBHP then); and an instantaneous reply with his mobile number and time to call... That humbleness and enthusiasm... Will never forget.
