How does one get in touch with Jio Fibre helpline? Their 1800 number just takes you in circles and its impossible to get a rep on the line to speak to.

I have opted for the Silver plan that said 200gb + 200gb free every month for 6 months. Now i have exhausted 200gb and the free 200gb hasn't kicked in. Instead it's prompting me to buy a booster pack!

Does the Sun NXT also allow you to watch the Malayalam and Tamil live TV channels under the Sun TV network? Also, how do I get Jio Fiber in Bangalore?

EDIT: Just read about the STB consuming a lot of data so I guess I am better off with my ACT broadband connection.

Exactly same issue I wanted to point out to Jio Fiber people, I have called them up. They are coming to fix the Set-Top-Box tomorrow. Will update once I find out.

Open your My Jio App then from the top left corner open the menu. In that you will find My Vouchers and you will be having a 200 GB top up voucher. You need to redeem that.

It wont show automatically. Go to My voucher section in JIO app and there will be an option to redeem the voucher for 200gb. I am on the same plan.

Also when you dial 1800 number, always choose internet not working and in that press 9 as soon as IVR starts giving you options. It never gives the 9 option itself so you have to do it yourself and that will connect you to a representative.
And any issues or queries always get in touch with them @jiocare on Twitter. They are fast to respond there.

I have ditched Jio Fiber and have gone back to Airtel. Airtel Xstream offered 3333 GB per month@40mbps for Rs 599 per month( excluding GST). Have paid years rent in advance. Plus I hated Jio’s customer support.

Oh boy that is a brilliant plan. I'm paying 1500 for 1000GB per month with Jio. Unfortunately I bought a year's rental plan.

Which city and is this is a special offer or available for anyone signing up?

I am in Jalandhar, they just laid the fiber network in our area last week and then an agent contacted me about the offer. I already had an airtel broadband connection at home, which was upgraded. I am an Airtel broadband subscriber for over a decade now, so i don't know if this played a part.

The agent was also offering some good bundled deals. E.g. 2 Airtel postpaid sims (75 GB data with rollover) + DTH connection (all channels, if I remember correctly, free dish and wiring) + prime subscription (for a year) for Rs 800 odd per month.

I have been using STB for close to a month and only OTT channels are available as of now and no Live channels, as long as I am not paying for it, I will use it. Once the actual plan comes out, will take a decision comparing with Tata Sky.

Checked the silver plan on Jio App and below are the OTTs available now -

Any idea whether Hot Star provided as free is VIP or Premium subscription. I am not able to play any Premium movies. Is this the case with others?

Hotstar VIP subscription is bundled.
