Attempted to watch Hello yesterday

- Some call center boss acting weird with baseball bats and all. And then some actors who i have never seen before. A heroine who looks 40+ but claims to be 20 something in the film. Watched for a aout 30 mins, some love story was beginning to start between the call-center couple.
Started feeling too sleepy. Switched off midway.

Rating:- -1/5

(yes its minus 1)

Watched 'Ek Ruka Hua Faisla', a film made by Basu Chatterji. The cast comprises of some of the best acting talents available in India like KK Raina, Annu Kapoor, Pankaj Kapur and the like.

12 people assemble together to act as a public jury and debate the sentencing of a 19-year old charged with the murder of his father. Initially just one of them (KK Raina) is convinced that the boy is not guilty, while others think the boy is guilty.

KK Raina goes on to convince the other 11 members in due course with wit, courage and definite logic that the boy is not guilty. Watch out for the climax scene when Pankaj Kapur is the last of the lot who is convinced. Heart-wrenching performance by Kapur.

The rest of the cast is amazing too. Very highly rated. Its more of parallel cinema, so I am not sure there are too many takers. But for those who are interested in art cinema, this is a must watch.

I remember seeing it when it was shown in DD about 20 years back. Great movie.

Well for all those who havent watched A Wednesday do not miss it. Do watch this movie as its absolutely brilliant. The plot is already discussed so let me just tell you Nasserudin is amazing and so is Jimmy shergill is absolutely good. He did a wonderful performance and i was thrilled for him as he has been in the industry from quite sometime.
4/5 is what i would like to give.

The best line is "Aaj tho koi pittnewaala hai"

Saw the movie. Great concept utilized. The way they are able to put forward the problem of common man is rather good. Acting by Anupam Kher and Nashruddin Shah are the best part of movie and they take to movie to another level. Great.
I would rate it 3.5/5.

Agree. I would give any money to watch Russell Crowe. Though this was a subtle performance, he still has the charisma and the screen presence to carry these roles off with so much of elan.
