Could you help me find out which OTT platform is streaming Seasons 4 & 5 in India? Watching it on free platforms is a bit frustrating due to all the pop-up ads.

It's on Jio Hotstar. All 5 seasons.

I feel slowly JioHotstar is becoming the go to place for all top english series.

Watched Four Seasons on Netflix. A good story about marriage/relationships with a very good cast. 4/5

Pay ₹1499/year to watch ads, and then pay another ₹699/year to remove them.

You beat me into posting this. Not surprised actually, they are alreay doing that in the MX Player content that is streamed.
Remains to be seen if the ads get embedded even when one downloads a movie or episode. MX currently doesnt allow downloads

1. Half the options displayed in the app are ads - from other platforms; atleast the one up on the front sections

2. Hollywood movies that are added to Amazon (US) get offered as on-rent options; and get added (for free watching) a few weeks down the line.

Overall it's a very irritating experience to browse on the Prime app these days. I think this is going to be the final nail for me to consider to move on from Prime.

Also, since Amazon has our shopping/browsing history, they would have the ability to show us highly personalized ads. Might lead to some weird experiences if you are sharing the account with family/relatives .

The audacity to strike out 999, like they're doing you a favor!

I hardly watch anything on Prime nowadays, and I doubt I've bought enough stuff in the past couple years that needs prime shipping.

They're likely going to lose my 1499/- this time around.

Agree. Same with Dupahiya. We may have seen 2 episodes and lost interest and moved on. Similarly to Gram Chikatsalya, not sure if it's worth continuing.

These are just feel good series that are inspired by Panchayat. But, not all will have the same effect as Panchayat.

You are lucky that it's happening now in India. Out here in the US, it happened long back- 6 months or about a year ago. I decided to continue as is, we are already paying $15/month for Prime Membership so didn't want to add more money to keep the ads out.

We just "mute' the tv when ads come on and have conversations till they go away.

The Operative
3/5
OTT : Apple TV +

I always get excited about any suspense thriller drama which is based out of the Middle East but, the trailer plays a big part in deciding if I even want to watch it.

This looked promising but, the story is slow and uninteresting in most part but, I still hung on to it till the end. It's a decent thriller without standing out.

I thought it would be as wonderful as "Tehran" which was an outstanding series because this too is a story around Iran/Tehran but, no comparison to Tehran.

Watch it if you like espionage thrillers based out of Middle East.

Prime Video already shows ads here in Australia. While it is annoying, on a relative level I feel it is more tolerable than Youtube ads which are literally more ads than content these days.

They are setting you up so that next year onwards 999 doesn't look like a shocker anymore.

They expect people to stay on because of Prime (delivery) facilities. I'm sure the internal executives are betting on this; plus a splatter of new attractive offerings (e.g. cricket series) on Prime video to attract/retain customers.

I agree - this is not going to work for a large customer base.
