RCB tickets available now here : http://www.liveinstyle.com/ipl/2016/book-tickets

The lower priced ones(<Rs 1000) are not showing up in online booking; probably will be available at stadium.

Any idea which stand to book at cost <2K per tickets. I see that A, B, C-upper is available for few dates fitting the budget and confused which one will provide best view among this. Also, how stringent they are about entry to kids.. Do we have to take ticket for <5 yr old?

Im also in same boat, last to last IPL i bought tickets from stadium (2 per head) 1-2 days before the match for ard 450/- per head. 1500+ is pretty high

Now i stay very far from stadium. So gets difficult to check every nowandthen.

Anyone who gets an update, please share here.

I would suggest going for the C upper stand amongst the three. Side stands don't provide a great view.

Why is the MI match marked as premium? Other premium matches are at least on weekends.

So, predictions guys ?

I hope Bangalore plays to its potential and wins it this time. Two of my favourites - DD & Punjab have horrible squads so do not have much hope from them.

Hey! Please don't call the Delhi squad horrible! It only lacks big names. They have serious potential and form on their side. And most importantly, it is a dynamic squad, which I have stressed since a long time. It is not rigid like the older, settled sides. Look what happened to the Indians today just because they shuffled their XI and batting order.
Even Punjab, they are possibly the eighth best team out of the eight this time, but still if their crunch guys like Marsh, Vohra, and Mitch perform to their potential along with the reliant ones in the two M's and Akshar, they can put up a fight as well.

Mumbai Indians need to get their act together. Rohit needs to score runs, Pollard is getting back from an injury, Malinga is still injured!

Btw, why is Harsha Bhogle so pissed off that he couldn't get a commentary contract this IPL?

Rcb and Kings Punjab are the ones I am supporting this year. It was good to see MI being thrashed. Never liked their team and specially Nohit sharma. Also shows how Dhoni magic works irrespective of the team he captains.

Re: The Cricket Thread

Couldn't help wonder about Indian bowlers in the RCB match yesterday. You had Bhuvaneshwar Kumar who was bowling pre-meditated deliveries. Even when he saw batsmen getting ready to scoop yorker length balls, he kept bowling them. Compare to Mustafizur who was bowling like he used his brains.

It has been an insipid start to the IPL this year! Saw a bit of highlights of Virat & ABD batting display which perhaps was the saving grace.

I think the zing is missing this time, I don't know why. The coverage is poor, the commentary horrible and no close games yet. Even the bloody official fantasy league is not working...

I find the score readouts particularly horrible and almost impossible to decipher, especially if you're slightly short-sighted.

And with no Harsha Bhogle this time, I'm a little disappointed.

Yes, missed the point. The graphic designer should be fired for the fonts that he is using.

re: The IPL Thread (Fantasy game league details on pg 238)

Seconded. It looks ridiculous . Like a 5 year old has designed it. Boring matches so far. Intensity is clearly missing. Bangalore and Mumbai matches are a joke. I want Rcb to win but such flat pitches don't provide any thrill.
