If everything fails, post it to me and I will get it done for you for free.

Last week i had been to Central, and i met a Polaroid sales guy. He said he can fix it for me, he needs to send it to Mumbai and it does come with a charge. So i handed over to him. Expecting a call from him soon on the expenses. If it fails, i will courier it to you

In that case look at the following. Garuda, forum and ub city malls. Indiranagar has a good optical shop on 100 feet road. Can't place the name now. Lifestyle in koramangala and richmond road.

Just for information sake, what is the starting price of the RB Aviators?

I also have an eye power(-1 both sides with some cylinder) but have been using normal Aviator glasses as I didn't know that sunglasses do come with power lenses. Can I convert my RB to power glasses and if so, where in Bangalore? How much do I have to pay?

Thanks,

That reminds me, I remember seeing glasses long back with mirror patterns only visible from front. Have you seen any in market recently (abstract, lines, not the spider webs)?
Do you mean the bi gradient mirror as seen in the picture. It is not clear in the picture, the upper and lower portion would have a mirror effect and the middle a darker line. This bi gradient mirror eliminates overhead and reflected glare.

The starting price depends on the model that you lay your hands on. The newer gradinets are more expensive. If you search hard you might find dealers who are willing to part with the classic RB3025 with the G15 lenses to make way for the gradients.
For your prescription its very easy to have tinted lenses on an aviator shape.

There are many RB dealers in Bangalore who can help you.

Presently I have the gradient lenses(brown) with copper frame. Will I get the same gradient in the prescription lenses or will it be a single tint one?

But be aware and willing to lose the "Ray Ban" logo on the lens. Someone once told me that the premium prices commanded by RB are for their lenses. SO, if you are willing to part with them despite paying a hefty bill, you've lost your buck.

As beejay mentioned, take a look at Maui Jim, some of whose models comes with prescription lenses. And yes, they retain the logo on the pres lens as well..

Hello everyone!

I'm from Bangalore, and have my eyes set on a pair of Maui Jims (Banyans). But, I don't seem to find any shop in Bangalore where there is any discount on sunglasses! Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Even I am looking for the same glasses, but at hyderabad. Checked in Central, but couldnt find one. BTW, what would be the starting price for it.

Am also looking for a glass which can be worn in the night. Dust loves my eyes and need to protect them.

That's too costly for me. Is it the starting price.
