Tommy Hilfiger since 2011. Glass cannot tolerate scratches and is very heavy. Need to remove it at times (playing pool, table-tennis or while using the mouse)

I just completed placing order for Casio Pathfinder Protrek Solar Atomic Watch PRW2500-1.

I was eyeing on PRG250-1 but realized the PRW2500-1 has the atomic radio enabled. Hopefully by next 3days will pass like breeze so I could feel the big casio on my wrist.

Samurai,
I just realized you have the PRG250 and sure you would have got some feedback after wearing it for some time now, please enlighten if PRW2500 is worth the purchase? I spend $220 approximately INR12,000

Folks,

Here is the hotest watch out from the box to my wrist.

I love Diver's Automatics because of their chunky build, simple dials and luminous needles and markers. Here are the divers i use regularly; Seiko Black Monster, Seiko Pepsi and an Omega Seamaster.

I have tried clicking them, but I end up with crappy pics...not trying hard enough!

A real classic shape and a super stylish, retro good looker. That Baume is lovely.
I ve got my eye on a Baume too, one of those simple elegant Classima series Dress watches.
That and the wonderful Radiomir Panerai, whenever I can afford one.
All the best.

Thank you for the appreciation.

Unfortunately, the watch is too small for a man's wrist or little larger for woman(managed to make her smile with the Omega though). Hence I will be reserving this watch for my son's use. When I was bidding the watch I thought it will be decent size for me to wear and I'm always a fan of roman letters in the watch, hmmm I just compared the size with the American quarter.

Anyway I'm currently bidding for a Baume & Mercier Capeland S chronograph 08052 model. I think the similar one with Sam Kapasi of TBHP. Hopeful to get it in my hand this week.

You are not alone to have that Panerai dream, I'm in too.

Maybe a Schaffhausen too!

re: Which watch do you own?

trammway, good going there with your collection. I see that you are bidding online through ebay to get those rare gems. I too want a vintage Omega and B et M but am wary of buying online without trying and checking them physically. Looking specifically for a DeVille in Omega and Classima in B et M.

Would love to know from all of you if you know any shop/person which/who deals with vintages in Bangalore. There's a seller from Mumbai who is listed on ebay, wish there was one for Bangalore too.

Hi JVH,

I don't buy all the watches from online except few which I know it won't go wrong or at least the investment is is not huge and recoverable in case if I find them bad. I used buyer protection in the past and it worked well. I also buy some from Craigslist with in person transaction.

Back in India I have known to couple of trustworthy dealers from all over the country who gave me good stuffs, there is on guy in Bangalore as well called Venkatesh Babu. You could meet him at the following business address and talk to him with the number provided. He pretty much runs a email DL that keep sending all the used watches he gets in his shop on daily basis. I found him little expensive but genuine. Just saw his last email that was about a Deville.

Seethaphone Company Since 1924 519, Avenue Road Bangalore 560002 09341235599 080 22263230

I hope this information helps you.
