This thought has come up for many of us - I would say most of us - when we accidentally hit the Thanks button, and then realise we didnt mean to.

It has been discussed, from what I know. Such inadvertent thanking happens once in a way, and an extra thanks does not do any harm

I use the Chrome browser on my phone and mobile site version to access Team-BHP. Last couple of days, the pages don't fit properly on the screen. While scrolling, I can scroll beyond the page to the right and can a blank black space. I then have to realign the page to read the content.

I was trying to register for the classifieds section and got a message email exists. So I tried to recover password but never received the email for the same. I am not sure if there is a delay in that process.
Further, I tried to register with a different email as the recover password did not seem to be working. But now the security code just does not seem to work. I keep getting an error "'Security code' is incorrect". I do concede I can be careless at times, but after 8 attempts I am pretty confident I am entering the correct code.

Not sure whether this is the right place to highlight, but the team bhp iOS app is not functioning after the 14.5 iOS update. When you try to open the app it says that the app needs to be updated to work with the latest iOS. Is anyone else facing this issue?

Most apps need to be updated to work on the upgraded version of iOS. But teambhp has been removed from the app store for a very long time now, so you can not update the app. You will have to use the mobile site from now, like the rest of us. But hey, the mobile site is pretty good.

I am seeing the following Spam Advertisement on this Tyre add car insurance putting claims damaged tyres (Tyre add-on in car insurance, and putting claims for damaged tyres) thread.


The advertisement is of shopmymobile.in. The online reviews for this site say that it delivers fake phones.

Could something be done about this advertisement?

Did you try to 'report the Ad'? I think there is an option to do so when you click on the Ad - it gives you an option to report it.

An example:


MODS can block the link if you can provide the same IMO.

Looks like the forum has moved to a new format where the next page also appears under the curent page; with a page break. Kind of liking this format as it simply removes the hassle of turning page after page. This is going to be very helpful while making multi quotes especially - neat and useful

I was finding this annoying actually. If you want to skip a few pages, you need to scroll all the way back up cause if you scroll down, it keeps loading the next page. Even if you fast scroll down, before you can click a page number, it starts loading. I'll probably get used to it over the next few days.

You can any time use 'home' button or 'end' button in your keyboard to immediately reach the top or the bottom of the page.

That said, this can be a pain while one is surfing the forum on the phone!

Now I use the desktop version even in the phone too, a button to turn this off can be helpful for phone users, Android doesn't offer home button after all. It's a moral responsibility of the core team to assure that we can easily surf the forum whenever we pick our phone for a quick glance when its a packed schedule

Will there be a switch to turn-off endless scrolling of pages if one wants? I like the old school way of clicking page numbers, this change confused me already a few times.

It is horrible, because it doesn't even work properly. It doesn't come at the end of the page, and I still have to next-page at the "real" end of page. And going back, page by page, with the old controls is borked. It is a mess.

Please, dev team, reverse out this unpleasant development, or at least hold it back until it works.

For now, I've zapped the buttons with uBlock Origin, but this is only a partial fix for the cosmetic unpleasantness.

Is there anyway to move to the old format of clicking the page number you want to go to or next page. This endless scrolling reminds me of facebook which I don't like.
