Pitch is playing fine till now with no low bounce yet. However few cracks can be spotted so 4-5 day batting will be tough.
Dhoni hits century too

Saw highlights of some Dravid shots during lunch. What classics ! As elegant as ever.

Lets hope that we can prevent a fall of wicket till the day ends.

Edit: Spoke too soon, Dhoni gone !

11000 test runs for Dravid.
He has been one great silent performer for India.

It's amazing how Dravid comes up with such innings more often than not!

11K test runs is another feather in the cap, for this awesome, but not so celebrated, player.

Let The Wall grow big!

Didn't leave my pc, didn't even visit team-bhp from the moment Dravid completed his century till the time he reached 11k.

What an amazing player, one of the greatest. He is second to none in Indian cricket.

You can make out an alternating sequence in this match.
Stage 1: Sri Lanka on Top with 4 wickets
Stage 2: India on top with Dravid, Yuvi and Dhoni
Stage 3: Sri Lanka on top with Indian tail failing
Stage 4: Sri Lanka on top with their batting performance.

Er...... did I say alternate - sorry!!

SL lost their 4th wicket on 332.

India did their on 32.

This is the difference between the two teams.

We need Mahela out, then even if we concede a fifty run lead, we can manage to wipe the lead out on day 4, and post a 250 run lead by COP tomorrow, it will be a tough proposition for Srilanka on a 5th day wicket.

I know I know.. I am dreaming..

Srilanka 402/5; and even India managed almost 400 for last six wickets. This pitch is a batting beauty - I wonder how our top order manged to be dismissed so cheaply. This will come to haunt India. SL is set to give a sizable lead; and put India under pressure.

This test is heading towards either a SL win, or a scrappy draw for India.

Dhoni and Dravid showed us that it is a batting track.
For Sri Lanka all the players are showing us that it is a batting track!

Phew.. I think the difference was the first hour of swing bowling- looking at the way the Srilankan newbie bowled, are we missing Irfan Pathan?

^^No.. It wont end in a draw. Sehwag will score a quickfire double hundred this evening. India will declare with a 200 run lead tomorrow morning, Sangakkara and Mahela will score ducks and Harbhajan will claim a hat trick. We will dismiss Sri Lanka in the last 2 sessions.

We will win by 174 runs.
