Phew we have kinda managed to save the match. Fingers crossed. I dont think the SL bowlers have the fire power , heck even Murali looks outta form.
I hope Mishra and Ishant get dropped next match. But are we still looking at 7 batsmen / 4 bowlers combo? Since Bhajji( and others too) are not in form i would prefer to take a 6batsmen / 5 bowler combo.

Match is drawn, it was a nice batting practice for both the teams.

Wondering if I India would have had their second innings if they succeeded in retaining those early wickets on the first day.

I would say it was bad captaincy from SL, they allowed Jayawardena to pile up the runs, he should not feel product at all for scoring 275 on a placid track, I would have poured up a ton of concrete on that pitch to make the ball turn.

I just love the Aussie & English concept of starting a test match on Thursday (mostly). The best days fall on weekends.
