Thanks for sharing. Just a follow up question, you did not mention the terminal. You used in T1? Around 3 month back my Infinia got rejected in T1 080 lounge. But in T2 its accepted from day 1 as its only lounge in T2.

Question to my fellow Magnus Holder Bhpians

After the devaluation and considering that points-to-miles conversion is valid for some time in a 5:4 ratio. What is the best way to make the most of these points or will you mind sharing how you are going ahead with your Magnus Edge Rewards points?

I am planning to convert the edge rewards to airmiles in qatarairways to get a free ticket for my next trip abroad. Also vistara for local travel needs.

Re: The Credit Card Thread

Hello fellow Bhpians , does anyone use the Flipkart axis credit card . I have been using it for the last 2 years . Recently i saw a news that its cashback scheme has been changed for various merchants. Is it still worthy or can anyone suggest a better cashback credit card .

Re: The Credit Card Thread

Hello Credit Card Experts,

I'm fairly new to the credit card game. I started with a basic CC from HDFC post covid and i currently have a Regalia. I've accrued around 45,000 points. What is the best way of redemption? Earlier i converted to cash once (gave me around 0.2 paisa for every point). Another time i logged in to the Regalia page and booked flights. Majority of the points that i have accrued are from my MakeMyTrip flight tickets and occasional dinners. I did login to Intermiles and i got lost. I had no idea if Intermiles is a good thing or no. The conversion ratio on HDFC rewards page for Intermiles is 0.5. I don't know if that is good or bad. So, what are my best options? convert to cash? is there any way to convert points to Amazon Pay balance because that's my go to online marketplace Thank you in advance. Cheers!

I think SBI Cashback card is the best, followed by HDFC Millenia in this segment

Thought I'd give this a try, I made a booking for a free cancellation hotel through Smartbuy MMT. However, now how do I cancel this booking? It doesn't show up on my MMT account. If I call them will they be able to link the booking to my MMT account and credit the refund to wallet? I did use the same mobile number and email address in Smartbuy as my MMT account.

Maybe the number of enquiries in the last few months are high. This usually cause cards to be rejected. I've personally faced this with Axis Bank. Try in a month or two and it'll go through if your Cibil score is good.

The best way to redeem Regalia points is to book flights/hotels through the smartbuy portal wherein you can use points for upto 70% of the total with a conversion ratio of ₹1 = 2 points.

Another option is to convert it into airmiles. While it's technically possible to get better value in this manner, it requires a lot of knowledge of the airmiles game and usually would require a lot more points at hand to make use of.

All other options tend to give very low value for your points.

Looks like the loophole is blocked. So after making the booking on Smartbuy, it never showed up in my MMT account. I called MMT customer care, but they asked me to call a dedicated number for HDFC. On finally reaching the HDFC department of MMT, they said they can take a request for cancellation but will not be able to credit the amount to the MMT wallet. The cancellation was processed without any delays, but the refund would go to the source of payment.

Would've been nice if it worked!

Re: The Credit Card Thread

I had an HDFC Regalia which was closed some 3 years back. This month, I received a statement (nothing to be paid/no transactions shown)
I am not sure what triggered this. I downloaded Payzap last month and activated it. Is this related?
Also is there anything to be concerned about?

You are right, earlier it used to list all bookings outside the partner link as well.
