i agree with with the authors views too...
somewhere down the line a year or so ago.. i was considering hiring a forklift so get even with someone who thought his SUV was his ticket to power and road space. Considered picking it up and just dumping in the mithi nullah.
fortunately it was sorted just few hours before the forklift arrived...
i was happy that i did not have to resort to voilent means as described but was equally sad to be robbed of the pleasure on watching his SUV in the big gutter.

In Bangalore majority of the Scorpios are owned by Real estate guys who care a damn for people and money. Obviously you cannot expect them to drive with sense.

Well said Ishan.......I do need to keep a neighbourly eye on him these days - what with him being in that "dangerous age" category (not for driving but for flirting)

I have a better idea. You also go and buy a Scorpio and wait for some sedan to burn your *** as it will just whip by you as the Scorpio is not as fast as some think.

I used to think this image only the Sumo owners used to have.

Talk of today is don't mess with any body. Just ignore even if it isn't your fault. you never know how cheap or dirty the fellow is.

He who has the habit of driving rash will surely meet a better(worse) man to get taught. Why endanger yourself. Just think of your families waiting for you to reach home safely.

A Little Unking To Scorpio?

Hai all Scorpio-bashers,

There are rash, stupid and crazy drivers of all cars, just look out and you'd see around you every day. Is it the vehicle or is it the driver or is it because more Scorpios are seen on the road than any other SUV?

I have seen even the all too popular M-800 fronty being driven through the craziest gaps you can imagine, like sodium on water. No offence to majority of M800 drivers who are good. Can be blame the M 800 for some idiot who thinks he's on the Indy 500?

Just my thoughts.......

Agree with Ramkya, cannot blame the car for being driven rashly by its drivers. Even i tend to notice a few things like :-

Scorpio, yes they are driven a bit rashly probably it gives the drivers that power to mow people down and raw power available

Alto, mostly first time drivers by the way they sit on the driving seat, their face almost out of the front windshield

I feel the luxury cars like Skoda, Civic, Corollas are the most decently driven, probably because mostly its driven by drivers.

The only thing that the Scorpio gives you is a One Way Ticket to Hell. If it rolls at speed, goodbye world.

I do not think most Civics are driven in a Civic fashion. They think they have unimaginable power and when they really have a bad car.

Not a very different plight to most other vehicles on our roads.

They next upgrade to a Skoda, ie. after selling the second plot of land which was in the family for generations.

Most of these guys were not even having a clue about cars and driving and today they come and ask me " Saar, idhu Scorpio gaadi yengaithe??"
(Translated : Sir, how is this Scorpio vehicle?)

No offense to anybody who owns or drives a Scorpio, this is just my humble observation.
. not many would want to be seen in one in bangalore unless you are the type who wears a big gold chain around your wrists, a couple of huge one around your neck and a big stone ring on at least 8 fingers.
