Top Speeds!

Wow man, now thats some special busa.. u'v rode it to the speed of 332kph, still gives me a shiver thinking about that...
Man wish someone would atleast give me a KM on his SBK.. I'l even pay rent for that.. lol.....

a lot of members will agree 350+ kms is impossible with only these mods

speaking of top speeds on the expressway mine's about 195 on the clock in my friends optra .. car's fairly composed at those speeds but a bit worrying when she rolls like a racing yatch in the bends .. which is why i did'nt have the guts to push it any further though there was still some give in the loud pedal .. (also add the insignificant other fact that it was'nt my car) .. and he's upsized to 195s (or is it 205s .. hmmm .. i can't remember)

My tops is a paltry 95mph (152kmph) on a Ford Mustang way back in the early 90s in Interstate 20 (or was it 26 ?) from GA to SC.

83 Suzuki GS1100E - 155 mph (road)
84 Porsche 911 Carrera - 150 mph (track)
84 Porsche 944 - 140 mph (road)
93 Ducati 900SS - 125 mph (road)
95 BMW R1100GS - 120 mph (road)
73 Yamaha RD350 - 110 mph (track), then holed a piston

01 Honda City 1.5 - 175 kmph (Coimbatore bypass)
84 Yamaha RD350 - 150 kmph (Mount road, Chennai)
69 Ambassador with Matador diesel engine - 100 kmph (road)

Top speeds as passenger
Modified 97 Porsche 911 Twin Turbo - 195 mph (track)
Modified 73 Porsche 911 Carrera RS - 170 mph (track)
9X(?) GSXR750 - FAST (track, was too scared to look at speedo)

The scariest was the GS1100E, naked bike with the aerodynamics of a brick.

Envious! You owned a 84 Carrera, so that would make it the year of the 930. And a 944? One lucky bugger. You just can't tell us that you did 150 mph and leave it at that, how about a little thread on your experiences with the Porsche. And you rode around a track, in a '73 Carrera 2.7 RS???!!! But, why would somebody modify a Carrera RS? I thought the beauty was in the simplicity of the concept.

Fastest on a bike was 110 kmph on a Pulsar on Hosur Road. On a two stroker it is 105 in my Supra.

In a car it must be 125 Kmph in a Matiz on the Eastern Exp highway but the car was wallowing at those speeds so I eased off immediately!
