Hi Shan,
The 5th gear is a Zens, and the Final drive is of a zen too. So check it up.

I did 175 kmph in my Corsa on Pune Mumbai expressway ..... the best part is that car was runnng on AutoLPG ....
Car could have gone still little bit more but i was hesitant as the car was fully loaded and i didnt want to strain the car ....

hey..just back from malyasia and tested a 1.8l type r civic hatchback...touched 240kmph in a NA car...that is Faaaaaaaaaast...

I did 101 kmph in my baby 800 on the express way. Hey I think this speed is enough for an 800cc engine right? Coz after that the steering shakes like anything so it feels very risky to go further.

some people here are realy amazing. touching 195 in esteems touching 200 in zens !! well going twice the speed limit in express highways(outside india) and that too such a cities where the cops are at every speed post. amazing.

i do a 100 kmph everyday in my M800 while going back from work on the Palm Beach Road in New Mumbai. great road and even if my car crosses 100 kmph it does not wobble thanks to my hubby who takes care of my car like our baby, getting the balancing and wheel alignment done every three months just to keep in check the wobbling as well as the qualtiy of the new radials bought abt a year back.

My personal best was a 170 kmph in a 2004, 3.4 Litre, V6 Pontiac back in the US.Would have pushed more but friends had warned me that I'd get arrested if I reach 100mph

so had to unwillingly back off as the car had a lot left(it was a 3.4 ltr V6 after all). The Pontiac felt completely safe at those speeds.

u have a 1.4 or a 1.6 ?

i got a 1.4 gsi .. i pushed it to 165 i think it can do lot more ..handling felt gr8 eh ..i was driving wid mi gf so (shes like a handbrake on all the time ) ..lemme kno whn u push more dan 175 in the opel ...

fastest i have gone is 240 k's in a 2003 mustang v6 ,i had an integra R ..max its touched once was a 135 (alrite i'll be honest bit over 134s they r not exact) ... wid the factory chip removed ... felt rock solid on the highway ..cudnt hold dat for long though ...have to slow down to 110 or else the pigs catch u ...

I have a 1.4 Opel Corsa , Dude.....
and on Petrol the car was peaking out at 165 KMPH .. I had the accelerator floored to the metal ..... and On autoLPG there was still some meat left in the car ....
yeah i will definitely let you know when i cross 175KMPH ...
but i have to get onto PUNE MUMBAI expressway for that ...

i think i saw ur car pic posted ..u have a white corsa eh ??
i was wondering wether u have modded the car or not ? its jus on the lpg or have u worked on the engine ?

i to get a gud top speed i feel u must change very late ...in 3rd i dont remmbr at wot speed i changed to 4th ..but i kno held 3rd long and same for forth ..5th reduced the acceleration big time i was doing 165 at i think 4300 rpm i ran outta straight had to back off for the bend ... on the delhi gurgaon road ..

do u manage to get frequent wheel spins when u shift to 2nd ?
