How much do we reckon he paid for the car?! Rs 12 crores is I guess is waste of money. Seriously, paying double the price of the car for taxes is really wasteful. I think cars above Rs 3 crores should be charged just like the EPCG scheme.

Anyways, what color was it?

I'll second xtreme power the Veyron has very much landed in Mumbai ... it was just pending registration and some legal formalities and hence the long wait ... My source too had told me that its maroon in colour ... and after reading extreme powers post Im positive he (read: source) is correct!!

Happy Spotting!!

OffTopic: Are there apartments available on rent on Worli Seaface??

There is some more really AWSOME news ... from the same source ... but I'm not sure whether to divulge details or not...some hints ????......JC owns one!

So, finally the beast is in town !!!!!
The lambos and ferraris are gonna be getting one hell of a complex
Could the down-towners find out some details about its location / routine, so that we "out-of-towners" could come and take a peek.

i do not believe it. and if this is true, i'm sure full customs is not paid.
there are hardly any sl's in india with full custom duty paid. leave alone ferrari's and porsche. Now you say Veyron. I can put my life on it. This is what i do. tell me which port it came into, and i'll find out the bribe etc that was involved. And i don't believe it because i bring in about 2 high level cars a month (for sale). I know most custom big shots. they would tell me about this and brag about how much they have eaten on this project.
