The GTS only went off the track onto the gravel pit. Slight underbody damage, I assume but it was back on the track the next day so I don't think it would count in as a crash. Whereas, the Gallardo, I hear was pretty badly damaged.

Seeing these photos greatly saddens me. When will people see sense and not go for an immediate rush. Every time you open the throttle on a powerful 2-wheeler, you have to be a 100% sure that you are not going to endanger your life and that of others around you or riding pillion with you.

And, when will people see sense to give youngsters a bike with that much power but not have them understand what they're straddling between their two legs? A 19 year old is gifted his death when you buy him a Diavel. The dealership or the peer group of this lad should have taught him, thoroughly, how to handle the massive amounts of power that come with owning a superbike. Instead, they let him take it to college and he never returned.

Just this morning, as I was driving into work, a young guy on a scooter broke the signal and was run over by my car. He didn't suffer any damage, I know because I lifted his bike and apologized profusely. I asked him what his hurry was and he said 'I'm rushing to hospital.....' oh the irony that if the impact was at higher speed he would be rushing there in the back of an ambulance. RIP common sense.

Re: Supercar & Import Crashes in India

Not as much saddened for loss of bike as for the unnecessary loss of life. The kid was literally handed over a self destruction tool by his parents.. the news of sons of celebrities dying in super bike road accidents should have been reason enough to deter parents from making irresponsible gifting decisions, that too for a kid who has barely started College..

I don't understand what's happening here? Is it just a flat/blow-out tyre? I suppose even cars such as this are not immune ---although I'd expect run-flat technology.

And why is the car stopped in the right-hand lane? Only idiots change tyres in the most dangerous place on a road.

But maybe I'm missing a lot here.

It's obviously not a flat, since the car is not jacked up

Looks to me like the drum of the wheel has sheared off (assuming that's what's shown in 2 of the pics - but I'm not 100% sure). There's even some damage around the wheel arch.

They seem to be trying to put the space saver on to move the car.

This is what happens when you use Fake Audi Wheels on a Bentley

Oh, it's most certainly a Bentley! Some of the details like the headlamp washers and massive brake-calipers are give-aways.

It's probably the infamous one from Delhi that has been involved in a few mishaps.

Attaching a few more pics which will give you a better idea. This Bentley was running on some cheap-make after market rims and they broke

It's a first gen CGT with facelift bumpers making it look like it's has mumps.

It is the one from Delhi which was also used in a few music videos. Used to be white. Unsure about the mishaps but this is one abused car with a million owners IIRC.
