Yummie. Seen the M3 and R8 in person. Yet to see the orange lighning bolt that you have in your garage. earlier the M3 had a muted exhaust note in low revs (when it overtook me at 80). How's it now (at lower RPMs)?

I guess you won't have much of a chance to see it . I am gonna sell the LP and the 911 soon , now that my brother is heading for his academic pursuits to the US .

Why selling the LP.. Isnt that the best car to have in your garage for all time?

Damn Ecks, sad that the LP will be leaving your garage. I say selling everything and just keep the Phantom & LP, but the air that wouldn't really be the most practical decision :P

I was in Chandigarh all of this week for work, was my first visit. Must say it's truly worth having such cars there because the roads are top notch! And since you have access to that airstrip makes it all the more better.

What pricing do you think you can expect for the LP & 911?

Awesome videos btw!! Wish I had witnessed this madness when there.

I am still double minded on selling the LP . The reason being that I can barely drive it . The thought never crosses my mind due to the fact that its such a pain to drive the car at times . I can never have fun in the LP and even the "authorized service" center has a very low standard team . As a result , I can't even properly maintain the crown of my collection . Its a pain to send the car back and forth to Delhi and still not get a proper job done .

I can not disclose the price I expect for either cars , sorry . The 911 will go for sure . In either case , whether I sell the LP or not , the 911 will go and will be replaced by the new DFI 911 Turbo . I guess I will decide soon . If I sell the 911 now and not the LP , then the Turbo will be added to the stable some time next year , but if I sell the LP and the 911 now , then the Turbo should be here this year end .

I guess India just isn't ready for hypercars like the Lambo and Ferrari yet . Such a disappointment .

oh no! The LP is going? that is so sad! It wasn't meant for the Indian roads, but still having one in India is an honour itself!
Anyways when's the run?

This is the sad truth. Coming from you, in Chandigarh, where the roads (seem to be) smooth as paper makes it all the more striking. I do agree with you though, because a friend of mine recently sold his 911 Turbo because he was just not using the car much due to our CRAP roads in Maharashtra.

Much as we all love our cars, some cars are still quite impractical for this country. :(

I heard something similar from a Car enthusiast friend in Pune (He has an S,a 7 & an enhanced TT), he was earlier planning of some exotics but is miffed with roads & thats why now he is really not keen on anything which is very low. He says most of these exotics wont even cross the big speed breaker & pothholes that are near his house.
