I intend to use it as a bar-be-que grill. Quite a multi-purpose design I must say. But honestly, I think they purposely make it that hideous so that no owner in their right mind thinks of keeping it on.

Had been to the showroom and first impressions awesome:-) the size of the bike says it all . The pictures you see on the net nothing close to what its to see in real, need to see it to beleive and the feel is premium " unlike thd honda cbr 250 r which i had test driven" - as everybody says the sitting posture you get in this bike is really comfortable " i have a 6.2" frame " i think that says it all. Waiting for the next lot to try my luck. The guy at the probiking showroom says its probably next month, keeping my fingers crossed.

I agree 100%. Looks stunning and though green is not one of my favorite colors, i ended up staring at it for quite a while. The saree guard as pointed out by others earlier is hilarious and I embarrassed the showroom guy quite a bit about it
5 more bikes expected end of September when they'll open the booking (again through the same lottery system). There are over 125 people interested and 5 bikes to sell. Post November Bajaj is expected to roll out much higher numbers.

Yes I had been to show room and was there at 9AM with my family (including my 4 months daughter). My name did not appear in lucky draw and I wil try in sep month lot.

Bike looks big and beautiful. My parents were against my decision and their view changed when they saw it. Had a big discussion yesterday night about ninja 650. They asked why such an expensive bike, what is there in it, can you ride in traffic, its risky as it is fast, costly repairs, why don't you upgrade your car and their questions were many more.

ABS makes a lot of difference when braking hard in wet and dry. Search for it in google. Imo it is equally important in a bike as in a car.

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 650R : Test Ride & Review

Bajaj is working furiously behind the scenes to get more bikes quickly to select showrooms.

They were finding it difficult to gauge response and demand.

Now that they know, they are gonna ditch this lucky draw business and take bookings with an upfront amount.

Just now called up the bangalore PBK , they said they have no idea when the next lot is about to happen and the number of bikes they are about to get. I cant understand when there is so much demand which anybody could understand after the first lot. why cant bajaj / kawasaki take it up seriously . Ths waiting & guess work is really getting on my nerves.

Waiting :-) for somebody who got lucky in the first draw to post a review of their bike.

Yes, the current shade of green looks garish. Through 90s kawasaki had better green shade, darker and better.

I got information that bangalore ktm store will be receiving 6 more bikes by end of this month.
I called up KTM store and a lady said they will be conducting a lucky draw this time as well. Quite frustrating as Bajaj is unable to cater to demands of a premium bike.
I am seriously loosing interest because of this lucky draw stuff. I will be very disappointed in case i don't get it in this month's draw.

Other option is to try at mangalore pbk store. A tbhp member has purchased from them and will be registering in bangalore.
