They are launching 3 bikes to start with. One made in and designed specially for India which is apparently not going to be over 3L, the Fat Boy and the V-Rod (I think).

Do you have any technical info on the Indian HD that is less than 3L?

I am a bit confused. is this date of 27th August true for launching the harley's in India. Has anyone of you come across a dealer set up. Atleast somewhere in the metros mumbai, delhi should have the setup already if they plan to launch on 27th August.

Even i am wondering if the countdown is for the website or the dealerships??
there is no buzz here in mumbai about harley davidson launching here, wonder whats going on?? i must say the mototrbike scene has changed bigtime now in india would be awesome to see harleys crusing in mumbai streets..

A jap crap is suppose to get launched for 2.5L+, Korian crap sold for 1.8L how come HD for 3L?come on guys stop all this rumoures.

I think we need to compare things as per Individual markets as they are in no way crap for Indian Market.

Finally after the famed bikes for mangoes circus. Just in case they are able to enter the market with a decent model within 3L, people will queue up to buy them... Waiting anxiously

Though I agree that korean Comet was a sure crap... one close look and I was dissapointed... the weld joints, the general fit and finish, plastics and even the metal used.

Whatever they launch in the market and however they price it, it is still going to create an air of excitement.
I am anxiously waiting for the announcement and would love to ride one of the Vrods if it is launched here. cross my fingers.
